Today we gathered for the final service of Freedom Fellowship.

For over 60 years, this church has been a place of prayer, worship, service, and community. Lives have been changed, faith has been nurtured, and the love of Christ has been shared far beyond these walls.

As we reflected on Joshua 4, we were reminded that before God’s people moved forward, they paused to remember—because remembering matters. Today we did just that.

Thank you to our community, our neighbors, our volunteers, our families, and every person who has been part of this story. God has been faithful to this house, and His work is not finished.

Though this chapter closes, we trust the same God who carried us here will carry us forward.

With gratitude and hope,
Freedom Fellowship 💛

✨ CARRYING THE LIGHT FORWARD ✨
Week 4 — The Ebenezer Journey

The light of Christ was never meant to stay in one place.

In this Week 4 message, we remember God’s faithfulness, share testimony, and are reminded that the ministry continues through God’s people. Even as seasons change, the light goes with us.

TRUSTING GOD WITH THE FUTURE | Week 3 — The Ebenezer Journey

When the future feels uncertain, Scripture reminds us that God is already there.

In Week 3 of The Ebenezer Journey, we reflect on what it means to trust God with what comes next, drawing from Jeremiah 29, Proverbs 3, and Isaiah 43. This message invites us to remember God’s faithfulness, surrender our fears, and trust the God who goes before us.

This sermon also includes a meaningful Ebenezer stone-laying moment, declaring together: “The Lord will help us again.”

WALKING TOGETHER IN GRACE | Week 2 — The Ebenezer Journey

In Week 2 of The Ebenezer Journey, we focus on how God calls His people to walk together in grace during seasons of change.

As emotions rise and transitions feel tender, Scripture invites us to choose love, forgiveness, humility, and peace. In this message, we explore Colossians 3:12–17 and what it means to live out our identity as God’s “chosen, holy, and dearly loved” people—especially when the future feels uncertain.

This sermon includes a meaningful Ebenezer stone-laying moment, reminding us that remembering God’s faithfulness and extending grace to one another prepares our hearts for what comes next.

📖 Scripture: Colossians 3:12–17 | John 13:34–35 | Romans 12:9–18

Whether you’re navigating transition, grief, or change, this message offers hope, healing, and a call to finish well—together.

💛 REMEMBERING GOD’S FAITHFULNESS 💛
Week 1 — The Ebenezer Journey

This Sunday, we began a sacred journey together.

As many of you may know, Freedom Fellowship Church will be closing later this month. While this season carries understandable grief and mixed emotions, we are choosing to pause—intentionally—to remember God’s faithfulness and to finish well.

Scripture tells us that when God’s people stand between what has been and what will be, they are invited to remember—not to cling to the past, but to testify.

In this opening message of The Ebenezer Journey, we reflect on:
🪨 The meaning of the Ebenezer stone — “Thus far the Lord has helped us” (1 Samuel 7:12)
🪨 How remembering God’s past faithfulness strengthens us for uncertain futures
🪨 How Scripture gives space for grief, questions, and honest faith
🪨 The promise that God finishes what He starts (Philippians 1:6)

This sermon also introduces a sacred practice of remembrance we’ll be walking through together in the weeks leading up to our final service.

If Freedom Fellowship has ever been part of your story—whether for a season or many years—you are warmly invited to join us as we remember, give thanks, and trust God with what comes next.

📖 Scriptures: 1 Samuel 7:12 | Psalm 77 | Philippians 1:3–6

🕯️ Advent Week 4 | Hope Has Not Left the Story 🕯️

The Christmas story was born in a season of uncertainty, transition, and trust—and so was our faith.

In this final week of Advent, we look closely at the story of Joseph, a man who faced sudden change, deep disappointment, and an unexpected future. Through his quiet obedience and trust in God, we are reminded that even when plans shift and the road ahead feels unclear, God is still writing the story.

This message also draws from the shepherds’ encounter with the angels and the promise spoken through Isaiah, pointing us to a steady truth:
Hope has not left the story.

Whether you are walking through grief, transition, or simply feeling unsure about what comes next, this sermon offers reassurance, biblical grounding, and an invitation to trust God one step at a time.

📖 Scriptures: Matthew 1:18–25; Luke 2:8–20; Isaiah 9:6–7

🕯️✨ Advent Week 4 | Carrying the Light Forward ✨🕯️

This Sunday at 10:00am, we gather for Advent Week 4, the final Sunday of Advent, as we reflect on the hope, love, joy, and peace found in Jesus—and how His light continues to guide us forward.

The Christmas story reminds us that even in seasons of change, God is still at work. Christ’s coming assures us that the story is not ending, but unfolding, and that His light shines through His people wherever they go.

This week’s service will include a meaningful moment of reflection and prayer as we consider how we carry Christ’s light into the days ahead.
