BACK TO SCHOOL SUNDAY | SPECIAL GUEST JOHNNY MOFFITT
Sunday, August 16 is going to be a special day at Cadence City Church!
As we prepare for a new school year, we’ll celebrate Back to School Sunday, taking time during our service to pray over our children and youth, teachers, administrators, school staff, and everyone who works with and impacts the lives of students.
We’re also excited to welcome Johnny Moffitt as our special guest minister!
Johnny’s story is one of incredible transformation. In the late 1960s, he was an officer in one of America’s largest motorcycle clubs. After a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ in 1971, Johnny committed his life to serving God—and for more than five decades, his ministry has taken him around the world.
Today, Johnny serves as President of Worldwide Voice in the Wilderness Prison Ministry, reaching into prisons across the United States and internationally. His ministry has impacted inmates, families, correctional officers, and communities through crusades, marriage and manhood seminars, and recovery programs.
His years of service have earned recognition from Texas governors George W. Bush and Rick Perry, but at the heart of Johnny’s ministry is a powerful testimony of what Jesus can do with a life completely surrendered to Him.
Johnny brings a unique combination of powerful ministry, an unforgettable testimony, and plenty of humor, and we’re excited to have him with us at Cadence City Church.
