Photos are from our Maundy Thursday meal from the Gospels of Matthew & John and the Tenebrae Service, the Service of Darkness.----- All are welcome to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday at 7am and 11am. Services will be on you tube. After the early morning service, there will be a breakfast potluck followed by bingo. Childcare is provided.

All our welcome to attend our worship services as we move forward this week to the cross. -- MAUNDY THURSDAY/TENEBRAE SERVICE April 2 at 6:30pm for meal and 7pm for service
--EASTER SUNDAY -April 5 Sunrise service at 7am and then followed with breakfast. Afterwards, we will have our annual Easter bingo. Regular worship is at 11am. (Note-there will be no fellowship or youth group)
Rev. Jess Thornton will be our minister for Apr 2.
Revs. Gayle Evers and Daniel Beteta will be our ministers for Apr 5. FPC Cove is so blessed to have these ministers for our services!

We will begin celebrating Palm/Passion Sunday with a processional in the narthex. We will enter waving palms in remembrance of Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem. Please plan on joining us a bit earlier so as not to miss this wonderful event.

Thanks to all those who gave up their Saturday to attend the recent CPR class. Instead of just standing around waiting for emergency vehicles to show up, we will have some trained people who can spring into action if needed. Thanks Jeff for arranging this class.

FPC Cove is continually being blessed with the joining of three new members. The Forbi family previously had been active in churches in Cameroon and Oklahoma. During the worship service, there was a special time for thanksgiving and praise by the family and their Cameroonian friends. Following the service, a celebratory meal and birthday cake was provided by the Forbi family.

On the Second Sunday of Lent, we had two members join, an elder installation, Communion, a sermon from Rev. Tom Tickner (moderator) entitled, "The Conversation," Youth Group meeting, fellowship and a Session meeting. Whew...

We pray for the person of God's choosing as FPC CC is searching for a pastor. We are still doing amazing things and as always "To God Be the Glory."

-More importantly at 7pm Rev. Ted Foote will lead us in our Lenten Penitence and Imposition of ashes at our Ash Wednesday service. This service marks the beginning of Lent which is a time of prayer, fasting, and self-examination in preparation of the resurrection of our Lord at Easter. By the way this service will be live streamed on YouTube.

These happy guys from the Mens Group really like hanging out with each other. Look at those smiles! Of course eating three types of breakfast tacos and French toast go along can to make one smile. The men were busy planning the Ash Wednesday pancake supper coming up this week at 6pm.
