Bluegrass Sunday - October 26 at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary.

Join us for Bluegrass Sunday on October 26 at either sanctuary service! Led by guest musicians, our worship will be filled with lively bluegrass music as we sing beloved hymns and enjoy a special presentation by the Chancel Choir entitled "Come Away to the Skies: A High Lonesome Mass".

The Blessing of the Animals
Sunday, October 12, at 3 p.m.

Bring your pets, large and small, for a community service honoring and blessing all God's creatures, in observance of St. Francis! Please bring your pet in a restraint or in a carrier to the parking lot behind the Christian Life Center of Cookeville First United Methodist Church.

Yesterday, our dedicated servant ministry team was blessed with the opportunity to partner with Shower Up, a mobile shower unit from Nashville, to serve our community. We provided free food, clothing, and showers, but, more importantly, we served up love, grace and compassion to everyone we came in contact with. LET’S TALK CARS!

Freeman Building B210 & Parking Garage

An interactive and demonstrative discussion class that will highlight vehicles from basic transportation to performance and collector cars. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences and bring any interesting vehicles to view and talk about. We will have examples of muscle and classic cars, race and track cars, sports/sporty cars, and super/hyper cars to view in the parking garage. At the end of one class, those interested will visit an interesting and a unique collection of cars.
