We spend a lot of our lives chasing things that promise fulfillment.

Success. Comfort. Approval. More.

But what if the greatest treasure has been in front of us all along?

This Sunday, as we continue through Ephesians, we'll see how God has invited ordinary people into an extraordinary story. A story filled with grace, purpose, belonging, and riches that can't be found anywhere else.

Whether you've been following Jesus for years or you're still figuring out what you believe, we'd love for you to join us.

See you tomorrow morning. 👋

What makes the Church so powerful?

It's not the building.
It's not the programs.
It's not even the people.

It's the gospel.

In Ephesians 2, Paul reminds us that Jesus takes those who were once far away and brings them near. He tears down walls of hostility, creates one family from many backgrounds, and invites us all to a seat at God's table.

The same gospel that reconciles us to God also reconciles us to one another.

This week, consider: Is there a wall you've been rebuilding that Jesus already tore down? How can the way God welcomed you shape the way you welcome others?

At The River, one of our core values is Loving People.

We believe people matter because people matter to God.

That conviction shapes the way we live as a church. We want to build authentic relationships, strengthen families, serve our community, and partner with other churches to make a greater Kingdom impact.

Loving people looks like sharing life together in community. It looks like encouraging and investing in families. It looks like serving our neighbors as the hands and feet of Jesus. And it looks like celebrating what God is doing through churches across our community, not just our own.

Jesus said, “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” (John 13:35)

Our prayer is that The River would be known not only for what we believe, but for how we love.

A week of fun. A week of faith. A week we'll never forget.⛰️🙌

WinShape Camp 2026 was one for the books!

This week, 175+ campers filled our campus with laughter, worship, energy, and excitement as they learned what it means to lift their eyes to God and trust Him every step of the way.

We celebrated Gospel conversations, watched seeds of faith be planted, and saw kids discover that their help, hope, and strength come from the Lord. From crazy games to powerful worship moments, God was at work in ways we'll be celebrating long after camp is over.

The future of the Church isn't someday—it's already here. And seeing the next generation grow in their faith this week gave us so much hope for what God is doing and what He's still going to do.

THANK YOU to every volunteer, leader, parent, and supporter who helped make WinShape possible. We are grateful, encouraged, and already counting down until next year.

"I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord." -Psalm 121:1-2

There’s something special about a room full of people celebrating what only God can do.

On Sunday, June 14, we’ll gather to celebrate baptism and hear stories of lives changed by the hope of Jesus.

Baptism doesn’t save us. It’s a public declaration that Jesus has already changed us. It’s an act of obedience, a picture of the Gospel, and a celebration of the new life we’ve been given in Christ.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” -2 Corinthians 5:17

Whether it’s a child, a student, or an adult taking this step, every baptism tells the same story: Jesus is still transforming lives.

If you’ve trusted Christ but haven’t been baptized, we’d love to help you take that next step.

Join us as we celebrate life change together on Sunday, June 14.

If prayer is only your last resort…
you’re missing what God intended it to be.

This Sunday in Ephesians 1, we looked at the way Paul prayed for the church—not with shallow prayers, but with depth, purpose, and expectation.

He prayed for people to:
- walk in wisdom
- know God deeply
- live with hope
- understand the power of God at work in their lives

“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light…” -Ephesians 1:18

That reminder hit home for a lot of us:
Some of us don’t need more noise right now. We need our eyes fixed back on Jesus.

Prayer changes when it stops being your panic button and starts becoming your first response.

As you read through Ephesians this week, ask yourself:
- Who am I consistently praying for?
- And what would change if I actually believed God was listening?

“Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly.” -Ephesians 1:15-16

Week 3 of Ephesians is here, and this Sunday we’re diving into the power of prayer, spiritual growth, and the confidence we have because Jesus is over it all.

Paul’s prayer for the church wasn’t small or surface-level. He prayed for wisdom. Hope. Strength. Eyes opened to who God is and what He’s doing. And honestly? We need those same things today.

So grab your Ephesians journal, invite somebody to sit with you, and jump in with us as we keep walking verse by verse through this incredible book together.

See you Sunday at The River.

“The guarantee is only as good as the one backing it up.”

The Holy Spirit is not just a feeling, a moment, or a distant hope. Scripture says He is God’s guarantee that those who belong to Christ have an eternal inheritance waiting for them.

Our security is not built on our own strength, consistency, or ability to “hold it all together.” It’s built on the faithfulness of God Himself.

Ephesians 1 reminds us that when we place our faith in Jesus, we are sealed as His own. Chosen. Redeemed. Secure. And because of that, we live with confidence, hope, and worship.

He is worthy of our praise, not just on Sundays, but with our whole lives.
