We’re excited to have i9 Sports back at First Methodist Conroe! This is a great opportunity for our FMC families and families in our community to enjoy sports, build friendships, and get connected right here on our campus.

📖 Third Grade Bible Presentation — This Sunday!

This Sunday, August 30, we’ll celebrate a special milestone as our third graders receive their very own Bibles during the 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. worship services! 💙

Parents, if you haven’t registered your child yet, please sign them up and select the worship service your family plans to attend so we can have a Bible prepared for them.

This special moment will take place during 5th Family Worship, when children and parents worship together in the Sanctuary.

👉 No Kids Worship this Sunday. Nursery care will be available for children ages 4 and under.

We can’t wait to celebrate this meaningful moment with our third graders and their families! 📖❤️

Do you love music, dancing, and worshiping Jesus? Then the kidLIFE Worship Dance Team is for YOU!

Calling all 1st–6th graders! We’ll learn a fun contemporary worship dance together and have the exciting opportunity to share it with our church family at the Children’s Christmas Service!
Only 15 spaces available!

Date: Saturday mornings starting September 12, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM
Location: Children's Worship Area
Dress: Wear comfortable clothing or leotards & leggings

No dance experience is needed—just bring your energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to have FUN! 🙌

As summer winds down, we've got some exciting events coming up for kids and families at First Methodist Conroe. Mark your calendars—we'd love to see you there!

🗓️ Aug. 2 – Promotion Sunday
Kids will move up to their new Sunday School and Kids Worship classes!

🎒 Aug. 9 – Blessing of the Backpacks
Bring your backpack to Kids worship as we pray for students, teachers, and school staff as they begin a new school year.

📖 Aug. 30 – 3rd Grade Bibles & 5th Sunday Family Worship
We'll present Bibles to our 3rd graders during worship, and the whole family is invited to worship together during our special 5th Sunday services.

🎉 Sept. 11 | 6:00 PM – Back-to-School Bash: Messy Games
Get ready for an evening of hilarious messy games, food, and fun as we celebrate the new school year while learning how Jesus forgives us, cleanses us, and makes us new.

We can't wait to kick off another incredible year of growing in faith together. Invite a friend and join us!

Tonight's the night for our KidLIFE End of Summer Bash at the Conroe Aquatic Center! Join us from 6:30–8:30 PM for an evening of swimming, pizza, drinks, and fun with other KidLIFE families as we celebrate the end of summer together.

🎶 VBS Families—we'd love to see you this Sunday! 🎶

What an incredible week we've had at Vacation Bible School! We hope your children have had a blast learning about Paul and the Underground Church, making new friends, and worshiping together.

The fun isn't over yet! Join us this Sunday at 9:15 AM for our Modern Worship Service, where our VBS kids will help lead worship by singing a couple of the songs they've learned this week. It's always a special moment to see them share what they've been learning with our church family!

Whether this was your first time at First Methodist Conroe or you've been part of our church for years, we'd love to welcome you this Sunday. Bring the whole family and celebrate an amazing week of VBS with us!
