HAVING AN EFFECTIVE PRAYER LIFE
1. EFFECTIVE PRAYER HEALS THE THE BODY. James 5:14
"Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the elders (spiritual leaders) of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"

2. EFFECTIVE PRAYER HEALS THE SOUL.
James 5:16
"Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]"

3. EFFECTIVE PRAYER DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO BE A RELIGIOUS SUPERSTAR.
"Elijah was a man with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed intensely for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land produced its crops [as usual]" James 5:14‭-‬20 AMP

GOOD MORNING AND KINGDOM BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL TODAY 🙏

LAY ASIDE WHAT’S BEEN WEIGHING YOU DOWN
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us" Hebrews 12:1‭ NLT

It may be time for a total reset of your faith! We often worry about junk food and what it does to our bodies but what about spiritual junk food? Now to change your mindset, you have to stop the junk that’s coming in. You may need to take a break from social media and the pressures of keeping up with the joneses.

You may need to let go of a relationship that’s pulling you down—a friend that’s really a fake friend or a boyfriend or girlfriend that is leading you away from Jesus back into darkness.

They may be leading you in the wrong direction. If you’re trying to lift someone up and they’re trying to pull you down, who’s going to win? Gravity says that It’s easier to get pulled down.

You may need to confess your sin. unconfessed sin may be building up in your life. This will affect your relationship with God, which means it affects every area of your life.

TODAY PRAY FOR THE STRENGTH TO HAVE A TOTAL, SPIRITUAL RESET 🙏

USE THE WORD OF GOD WHEN YOU'RE TEMPTED
"God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him".. James 1:12 NLT

Jesus experienced human limitations like we do. He was tired. He knew physical thirst and physical hunger. And He also felt physical weakness.

The Bible also teaches that Jesus was tempted. And He left us an example to follow when we face temptation ourselves.

When the devil tempted Jesus to turn stones into bread, He said, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone’” (Luke 4:4 NLT).

When the devil tempted Jesus to worship him, He answered, “The Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him’” (verse 8 NLT).

And when the devil tempted Jesus to jump off the temple in Jerusalem, Jesus said, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God’” (verse 12 NLT).

JESUS PRAYED AND WAS STRENGTHED TO RESPOND TO THE DEVIL WITH THE ONLY THING THAT WILL BEAT HIM BACK AND LEAVE HIM HUMILIATED WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD!

TODAY YOU ARE VICTORIOUS BY PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT AND USING THE WORD OF GOD!
BLESSINGS AND MUCH ❤️ LOVE!

We choose to forget the past and move forward into all that You have prepared for us.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen 🙏

"No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead"
Philippians 3:13

DEATH HAS NO POWER OVER THE BELIEVER!
"And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die" Revelation 12:11 NLT

We are victorious by the blood of the Lamb and by our testimony of salvation!
"Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bo***ge"
Hebrews 2.14-15 NKJV

Through His sacrifice Jesus set us free from the fear of death and removed the sting from death for us. When someone who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ and leaves their body in what we call death, they immediately go to be with Jesus in heaven. Heaven, where theirs no more pain, sickness or death, and where the streets are paved with pure gold. HALLELUJAH!

DON'T YOU WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN? YES!!!

MAY THE WORKS I'VE DONE SPEAK FOR ME
“John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?’ ” And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight" Luke 7:20-21 NKJV.

When John the Baptist sat in prison, knowing that his ex*****on was imminent, battling a season of discouragement and doubt. According to Jesus, John was one of the greatest men who ever lived, and yet his heart and soul were weary and in need assurance that Jesus was who He said He was.

John sent word to Jesus’s disciples, asking if He indeed was the Messiah, or if they should keep looking for someone else. Jesus answered this way: “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of me.” Luke 7:22-23

If you find yourself waiting and weary, step away from your current situation and recount again some of the ways that God has come through for you in the past. Declare right now that, though you can’t see it, God is at work in your situation.

"MY GRACE IS ALL YOU NEED"
"Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, ‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.’ So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong” 2 Corinthians 12:8-10

Often, we imagine that we’re at our best when we operate from a position of strength—bold, confident, unshakable, and Immune to trials and tribulations. We convince ourselves that we’re most effective after we’ve cleared the obstacles from our path and overcome our infirmities.

God sees it a different way. He prefers that we operate from a position of weakness so that His strength is unmistakable. He wants us to rely on Him so that others can see us rely on Him and then rely on Him also.

That’s why He allowed hardship in Paul’s life. And that’s why He allows hardship in our lives. Hardship makes people usable in God’s kingdom.

DO YOU BELIEVE THIS?
"Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" John 11:24-26 KJV

Martha said, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” At that point, Jesus took the conversation one step further, saying, “I am the resurrection and the life.”
And then came the challenge for Martha: “Do you believe this?”

Your answer to that question affects both how you live and how you deal with death. Jesus has not only conquered death but also made a way for you to conquer death too. Even though your physical frame will fail you, when you believe Jesus is the resurrection and the life, death simply becomes a transition, a passing from one realm of life into another.

DO YOU BELIEVE THIS?

GOD IS MY SHEILD AND MY PROTECTION
"O Lord, I have so many enemies; so many are against me. So many are saying, “God will never rescue him!” But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; [YOU ARE MY GLORY,] the one who holds my head high".. Psalms 3:1‭-‬3 NLT

But you, O Lord, are my glory!
1. It is the Lord who is King David's Glory!
2. It is the Lord who gives his life meaning!
3. It is the Lord alone who makes him significant!

It isn't the fact that the writer is the King of Israel, or that he has palaces and prestige, IT IS GOD ALONE! HALLELUJAH!!!

Let me tell yall this important truth this morning. In this high tech world, it isn't fame, money, relationships or social standing that gives us value,

BUT IT IS GOD ALONE AND HIS PRESENCE THAT GIVES OUR LIVES SIGNIFICANCE AND MEANING. HE MAKES OUR LIVES WORTH LIVING.

GRACE, PEACE, FAVOR, GOOD HEALTH, BLESSINGS AND PROSPERITY BE TO OURS, YOU AND YOURS!
