"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

“See, all your angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing. You will look in vain for those who tried to conquer you. Those who attack you will come to nothing.

"For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you" Isaiah 41:10-13 NLT

FEAR LOSES ITS POWER WHEN FAITH TAKES ITS PLACE. GOD IS HOLDING YOU UP EVEN WHEN YOU FEEL WEAK, TROUBLED OR CHALLENGED IN YOUR BODY. GOD IS GOOD!

"God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble" Psalms 46:1 AMP

Whatever you face today, remember that God is already there. Run to Him first, not last.

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

EMBRACE WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST

"So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him.

"Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what He wants from you, and quickly respond to it.

"Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you" Romans 12:1‭-‬2 MSG

MORNING PRAYER

"The people who walk in [spiritual] darkness Will see a great Light; Those who live in the dark land, The Light will shine on them".. Isaiah 9:2 AMP

LORD GRANT US THREE THINGS TODAY:
1. Give Your people the knowledge of salvation By the forgiveness of their sins, Because of Your tender mercies, with which the Sunrise (the Messiah) from on high will dawn and visit us,
2. Shine upon those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
3. Guide our feet [in a straight line] into the way of peace and salvation. (Based on Luke 1:77‭-‬79)

In Jesus mighty name Amen 🙏

ONE DAY AT A TIME
"Remember how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for these forty years, humbling you and testing you to prove your character, and to find out whether or not you would obey his commands.

"Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord" Deuteronomy 8:2-3 NLT

God often does things in our lives step by step, little by little, and day by day. That’s how He gives us strength. Jesus taught us to pray for our daily bread. Let us also pray for the Lord to provide our daily work, our daily joy, and our daily grace and mercy.

When the Israelites were in the wilderness, God didn’t provide them food for a week or a month or a year. He provided what they needed day by day. In this way, He wanted them to learn to rely on Him. To keep from getting overwhelmed, learn to take life one day at a time.

GOD IS LOOKING FOR CLEAN MESSENGERS
"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
Isaiah 6:5-8 NKJV

God is searching for a willing messenger to speak His truth to the nation of Judah. When God asks "who will go for us," it reveals the God head and heavenly council surrounding God's throne. Isaiah's declaration, "Here am I; send me," reflects his courageous obedience and unconditional availability to fulfill God's purpose.

Before Isaiah could volunteer, he had to recognize his own unworthiness. Upon seeing the holiness of God, Isaiah cried out, "Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips..." God symbolically atoned for his sin by sending an angel to touch his lips with a burning coal.

It is only after this cleansing or salvation that Isaiah is empowered, eager and ready to serve.

ALL SIN HARMS SOMEONE
"When someone sins, he earns what sin pays--death. But God gives us a free gift--life forever in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 6:23 ICB

Sin is a teacher whose lessons are hard and painful. You can't place your hand in fire without being burned. And you can't sin without hurting yourself and other people. Sin harms and it hurts. That's why God classifies it as sin. All sin hurts someone.

Because sin has consequences, it eventually will convince you of the error of sinning -- if you live long enough. Don't ruin your life finding out what you can know right now just by reading the Word of God and being wise enough to do it.

God’s purpose is not to keep people from enjoying life. All that God has written in the Bible is for our benefit. God already knows everything. He gave us His Word so that we could find and enjoy real life.

Sanctified by the Father to do His business
"And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the People" Matt 9:35

Jesus testifies in Luke 4:18 that He was "anointed" to preach the gospel to the poor, another way of saying that He was set apart. He says that He could do nothing of Himself, but only what He saw the Father do (John 5:19, 30). He declares that the works He did bore witness that the Father had sent Him, meaning He was being directed by the Father (John 5:36-37; 8:18).

He says that He could do nothing of Himself, but He could speak only as the Father taught Him and of what He had seen while He was with the Father (John 8:28, 38). He states that He did not speak on His own authority, but that the Father commanded Him in what He should speak (John 12:49).

John the Baptist said it this way, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven" (John 3:27).

SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER

God our Father,

Thank You for Your promise of blessing me. I cast all my cares on You and trust that You are working behind the scenes in my life to bring about good things. Thank You for watching over and protecting me and my family. Let Your glory be revealed in my life today.

In Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen. 🙏
