Summer weather means the close of the REACH season. They returned after their Cross Cultural Outreach for a time of reconnection and debriefing here in the building. This includes a time of sessions, meetings with fellow teammates, and recreation. Of course, not every team went to the same location, so we also include a time of cultural showcase for the others to see into their experience. To conclude the time, there is a presentation for the parents and mentors before we say final goodbyes. As they return to their home communities, please continue to pray for accepting communities and people who want to hear their stories. Also please be praying for their upcoming adventures as they travel various places.

In March, we welcomed Riverview Christian Fellowship into our building for Family Challenge. Started only last year, this is an exciting time for us to connect with another group different from our REACHers or City Challengers.

Over the course of three days, these families had the chance to explore city ministry through brown bagging, service projects, and the prayer challenge. Thanks again for serving wholeheartedly with us.

For this year's RBC Night, we welcomed the students into the building for dinner and a night of connecting with RI’s mission; specifically to get a taste of our REACH program. After a communal meal, we sent them in groups to participate as teams in travelling to different parts of the building.

There were 12 teams in all, each sent to a different location for their “outreach” time. Afterwards, we met together for a time of sharing our experiences with each other. We ended the night in worship and fellowship over tea.

Meet Chandler, our Food Services Intern!

Chandler is from the coastal state of Delaware, where beach trips are quite common. In his free time, he recently picked up whittling. Also being a former REACHer, he’s excited to be welcoming the incoming class to the building this fall.
