Dear Family and Friends, As most of you know we are having our first Family Life Ministries Community Cookout June 6th at the mission house 2611A Parsons Ave. If you have a canopy that we could use for the day we would appreciate it. The more the better 10x10s, 10x20s, 10x30s. We are going to have a lot going on. We have food, dunk tank, inflatables, games, dancers, music and singers, face painting, lots of clothing and house hold items, toys and more. EVERYONE IS WELCOME AND ITS ALL FREE. What if the exhaustion you feel isn’t because you’re weak… but because you were never meant to carry the world without rest?

Parshat Behar-Bechukotai reminds us of something we desperately need to hear right now: You are not a machine. You are not here just to produce, hustle, grind, and survive.

Even the land in Israel was commanded to rest. To breathe. To reconnect to its Source. When we forget how to pause… we eventually forget who we are.

Maybe that’s the deeper message of Shabbat. The world spends six days trying to conquer life… and then Shabbat arrives and reminds us… “You don’t have to carry everything alone.”

So tonight, light the candles. Put down the anxiety for a moment. Bless your children. Take one deep breath without needing to earn it.

May this Shabbat bring healing to the brokenhearted, strength to the exhausted, protection to Israel and the Jewish people everywhere, and deeper connection between all of us.

Evangelist Franklin Graham and Pastor Greg Laurie are urging Christians across the nation to join together for prayer and repentance on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at noon.

"If you think our nation is in trouble now, just wait," Graham, the president of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, posted on social media.

"As a nation, our sins are so great. We have increasingly turned our backs on God and His commands, embracing godless secularism. We need to ask His forgiveness and seek His face," he continued. "Pray for our leaders, and pray that God would bring calm to our streets."
