Dear Friends in Christ,

As we prepare for our parish Pasta Dinner, we are grateful for the many ways our community shares its time and talents. If you feel called to serve, we would be blessed by your help with Pasta Dinner reservations and 50/50 raffle ticket sales before and after our Masses at 9:00, 11:00, 5:00, and 8:00 for the next two Sundays (October 4th and October 11th).

Your kind help with sign-ups will let everyone take part in this gathering, and every dollar raised goes directly to our parish family.

If you are able to lend a hand, even for just one Mass, please reply to [email protected] and let us know which date and time works best for you.

Thank you for your generosity and for the love you show in serving others. May God bless you and your family.

In Christ,

Kendy Troiano
Secretary - Confraternity of Christian Mothers

A Beautiful Beginning to Our CCD Year!

What a joyful first day of CCD! We were so happy to welcome our children, parents, and catechists as we began another year of growing together in faith.

Our theme this year reminds each of us of God's personal love:
I have called you by name; you are mine." - Isaiah 43:1

Like sunflowers turning toward the light, we are called to turn our hearts toward Jesus. He knows each child by name, loves each of us deeply, and has a special plan for every life. As we begin this new year; may our children grow in faith, our families nurture the seeds God has planted, and our catechists continue to guide our children toward Christ. May every sunflower we see remind us: Turn toward Jesus, Grow in His light. Remember - you are His.

Thank you to all our families and catechists for making the first day so special. We look forward to a wonderful year of growing together in faith, hope and love!

With love and prayers,
Sr. Bozena LSIC

This month the Mercedarian Third Order will offer a celebration of nine consecutive Masses on behalf of those suffering from various addictions. These novena Masses will be offered at Holy Family from September 20 to 28, 2026. Addictions encompass a range of behaviors and substances that can significantly impact individuals and society.

This Sunday, September 13th, you will have the opportunity to write a prayer petition to be a part of these Masses. Your petition will be placed in a box near the altar during these nine Masses. Third Order members will be in the vestibule before and after most Masses to help you. Please see our article posted in this week's bulletin (www.holyfamilycolumbus.org) for more information.
