YG CHURCH SHARES LOVE AND CARE WITH COLLEGIANS
“Receiving the care packages was so nice because it feels like my church cares for students at every campus,” says Adrian Tufino, a senior at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) who also served this year as president of the Adventist Christian Fellowship chapter at UTA. “Our church reaching out to support students on our campus at UTA means the world to me.”

Care packages remind students they’re not forgotten.

The Filipino Adventist Ministries Coordinating Council [FAMCC] invites you to the 15th Biennial all Filipino-Canadian Camp Meeting beginning Friday evening, June 12, 7:00PM, at the First Fil-Can Seventh-day Adventist Church, 788 Sheppard Ave W, North York, ON M3H 3T4.

Sabbath morning begins at 9:00am and continues with the 11:00am Divine Worship at the Canada Event Centre, 300 Water St., Whitby, ON L1N 9B6; Culminating with an afternoon Music Festival at 3:45PM.

Enjoy the Sunday SportsFest and Potluck fellowship in store beginning 10:00AM at, Kingsway College, 1200 Leland Road,

Our featured presenter is Dr. Artemio Allan Martin, the eldest son of Dr. Art and Aurora Martin; His grandfather, Pastor Florentino Martin, Sr., was a mission president for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Philippines. Dr. A Allan Martin serves the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists as the Senior Consultant for Growing Together in collaboration with Young Adult LIFE and Fuller Youth Institute.

While doing his doctoral work at Fuller Theological Seminary, Pastor Martin served several years as the youth and young adult ministry pastor for the Central Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Church in Los Angeles. He has been involved in ministry for over 40 years, specializing in discipleship, leadership development, and young adult ministry. He and his wife Deirdre Rivera-Martin travel and speak internationally, while residing in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex where Pastor Martin has served as the teaching pastor for Younger Generation Church for over a decade and a half.

WASHED CLEAN
There are so many rewards to ministry mentoring, especially if you’re afforded the honor of traveling with pastoral apprentices for longer than a season or two. To see growth, and experience hardship together; To be refined and sharpened as interns and residents learn the craft of pastoral compassion and care; All of it is a privilege.

A special moment came to us at as we saw multiple baptisms, the result of the faithful and tender discipleship our ministerial students afforded our baptismal candidates. It was so beautiful to witness GOD working in all of our lives, celebrating how Christ Jesus makes us — all of us — clean.
