CHURCH FOLKS, IT’S TIME TO GROW UP SPIRITUALLY!

It is time for the people of Yah to be delivered from the spirit of offense and the spirit of victimhood! Everything is NOT an attack against you, everybody is NOT against you, and every correction is NOT rejection!

Sometimes, you are simply being CORRECTED! Take the correction, REPENT where necessary, LEARN from it, and MOVE FORWARD in love and in Yah!

We have got to stop playing the victim every time someone holds us accountable. Some people have created entire offenses in their own minds over situations that were never intended to hurt them. You have rehearsed conversations that never happened, assigned motives that were never there, and convinced yourself that people are against you when, in reality, the greatest battle is taking place within YOU!

Let me help somebody today: EVERYTHING DOES NOT REQUIRE AN OFFENSE, AN ATTITUDE, OR A RESPONSE!

The Bible declares in Proverbs 12:1, “Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.”

Correction is not always punishment; sometimes correction is Yah’s way of positioning you for your NEXT LEVEL! You cannot keep asking Yah to elevate you while refusing to allow Him to correct what is hindering you!

STOP allowing your emotions to become your enemy, your imagination to become your reality, and your offense to become your identity!

And if this word is speaking directly to YOU, I say this in love: PLEASE, BE THOU MADE WHOLE!

Be healed from the wounds that cause you to see enemies where there are none. Be delivered from the need to always be right, always be offended, and always be the victim. There is too much KINGDOM WORK to be done for us to remain spiritually immature!

DON’T BECOME YOUR OWN HINDRANCE TO THE VERY THING YOU HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR!

Grow up! Heal up! Repent! Forgive! Love! And MOVE FORWARD! YAH CANNOT BE GLORIFIED THROUGH THE OFFENSE YOU REFUSE TO RELEASE!

I’m not posting this to offend you. I’m posting it to CHALLENGE YOU TO GROW!

HE THAT HATH AN EAR, LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAITH UNTO THE CHURCH!

MY HEART IS OVERFLOWING WITH GRATITUDE!

I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to my New Life Ministries family, my biological family, and all of my friends for making my 14th Pastoral Anniversary yesterday an absolutely AMAZING celebration!

YOU GUYS ROCK, AND YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST!

Words cannot adequately express how much I love and appreciate each of you for your unwavering love, prayers, encouragement, and support. You all blessed me TREMENDOUSLY yesterday, and I do not take one moment of it for granted!

A SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS to our newly ordained Elder Dontrelle Martin and our newly appointed Supervisor of Women, Evangelist Lola Patrick! I am so proud of you both! Greater is ahead, and I believe with everything in me that IT’S ONLY UP FROM HERE!

The Word declares, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” — 1 Corinthians 2:9

I believe that what Yah has in store for New Life Ministries is GREATER than anything we have experienced thus far! YAH WILL ALWAYS GET THE GLORY!

To my sister, my friend, Thee Apostle Ladorger Kirkwood— LADY!!!! Working that altar with you yesterday brought back so many precious memories! We didn’t miss a beat! We were in sync, flowing together in the Spirit, just like old times! Thank you for being the powerful, anointed woman of Yah that you are. I love you to LIFE! Some connections are not just friendships; they are divine assignments!

To everyone who traveled from near and far, THANK YOU for showing up, celebrating with me, and helping make this occasion unforgettable. Your presence meant more than you could ever imagine!

AND TO MY FAMILY… BABYYYYY!!! Let me tell y’all something! I have CRAZY MAD LOVE for EACH OF YOU! Y’all are always telling me that I’m the glue that holds this family together, but what you may not realize is that Y’ALL HOLD ME DOWN, AND I MEAN TIGHT! Through the good days, the difficult days, the laughter, the tears, and everything in between, you’ve been right there. I couldn’t ask for a better family. I love each and every one of you beyond words!

Fourteen years of pastoral leadership have taught me many things, but one thing remains certain: YAH HAS BEEN FAITHFUL THROUGH IT ALL! Every mountain, every valley, every trial, every victory, and every season has been covered by His grace.

GRACE FOR THE JOURNEY, GLORY FOR THE NEXT!

I don’t know everything the next chapter holds, but I KNOW WHO HOLDS THE NEXT CHAPTER!

Again, from the depths of my heart, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

We cannot expect more from Yah than we are willing to give—or willing to receive from Him. If we desire more of His presence, we must give Him more of ourselves. If we want greater revelation, we must be willing to seek Him deeper. If we want more of His blessings, we must be willing to walk in obedience. Yah is not withholding from us; sometimes we simply haven’t surrendered enough to receive what He desires to give.

“You can’t demand a harvest from a field you refuse to cultivate.”

People, stop saying what you would and would not do in certain situations.

It’s easy to say what you would do when you’re not the one actually facing the situation. The truth is, you really don’t know what you would do until you’re standing in that moment.

You can have a plan.
You can have an opinion.
You can even be convinced that you know exactly how you would respond.

But when the situation becomes REAL, it can be a completely different ballgame.

So instead of judging someone else’s response or declaring what you would have done, pray that when your moment comes, you will have the wisdom, strength, discernment, and grace to make the best decision possible.

Because sometimes life will put you in a situation you never imagined you would have to face.

You don’t know what you would do until you’re there.

Give people grace.
Pray for wisdom.
And be careful about saying, “I would never…”

Life has a way of teaching us that never is a dangerous word.
