Bethlehem Temple of Praise (BTOP) was founded and established on March 17, 2002 by District Elder Stephen Halton, who also serves as Pastor. The first praise and worship service was held in the Hampton Inn located in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. A short time later worship services moved to a beautiful meeting room inside the
YMCA also in Downtown Cleveland. After continued blessings and growth, the
church settled on Cleveland’s west side into its current location, 2607 Archwood Ave
Bethlehem Temple of Praise’ mission and goal is to help those who are lost, wounded, or in need. Several ministries were created and put in action to empower, inspire, and motivate each individual to reach their full potential and become self-sufficient. That result in greater impact and Cleveland West side and its surrounding areas. BTOP members express love not only in their words, but by their deeds. On numerous occasions members would serve dinners after Sunday service to support feeding the hungry. These efforts support ministering to the total man, both in body, soul and spirit. In addition to this outreach program, Bethlehem Temple of Praise helps its members find employment through networking and partnering with business owners in the church. This networking presents opportunities to allow individuals to be trained in trades such as carpentry and construction. Our outreach is not limited to members, but extends to the community. Over the last year we have established a family atmosphere with both BTOP members and visitors by showing love and compassion to the needy with the assurance that God has and will provide. Bethlehem Temple of Praise supports a ministry founded and rooted on biblical principles. We strive to serve God by exhibiting integrity and compassion for our community, the nation and the world. We have established a reputation for reaching those who are lost and in turn minister to them with the highest level of dignity, love, and respect. Our vision supports that the total man be saved, healed, and delivered from whatever the enemy has inflicted upon their life. In this environment we encourage and inspire maximum participation while promoting personal satisfaction. This concept fosters supportive and effective leadership in our ministry. We are committed to influencing generations by the power of our vision through empowerment and teamwork.
