End-of-Summer Picnic 🌞

Sunday, September 13 following worship, on Pilgrim’s front lawn

A food truck will provide pizza & sliders. Pilgrim members are invited to bring side dishes and desserts to share. Help is needed for set-up, serving, and clean-up. Please sign-up to help, as well as let us know what side dish or dessert you will be bringing, on the sign-up sheet posted in the Fellowship Hall.

We will invite passers-by to join us for a meal and fellowship!

Dear friends in Christ,

Along with so many, we are heartbroken to learn of the untimely death of our dear friend, colleague, and leader, Rev. Derek Terry. On behalf of the Heartland Conference and our Associations, in which he served as pastor, teacher, colleague, friend to so many, and Executive Director of the Open and Affirming Coalition UCC, we extend our heartfelt love to his family, the congregation of St. Peter’s UCC, where he served as pastor, and to so many friends who grieve his sudden passing. Derek's warm spirit and bright light embraced so many throughout the entire United Church of Christ and beyond. His lived witness to the depth of God's love for all people will long remain in our hearts and minds, and we know this will be true for so many.

Blessings on you, dear Derek, beloved of God. We love you!
