The Dirt Man
Weekly Word Outdoor Adventures with Pastor Tazz for Oct 29, 2026
Autumn is here and it’s time to give the garden a rest for this year. As I survey my small garden spot and the dirt that has blessed me with many peppers, tomatoes and greens, I reflect on how much we have in common with dirt. Come join me and let’s chat more about it!

Psalm 105:1-45 Old Testament Bible Study Oct 25, 2026

Welcome to our Sunday evening Old Testament Bible Study. Psalm 150 calls to mind the need to remember the great things God has done as well as a reminder that God does not forget. We should praise God and let others know about His wondrous works. The psalmist recalled the goodness of God thousands of years ago and we should remember His goodness too!

Matthew 24:1-51 New Testament Bible Study Oct 21, 2026

Welcome to our midweek faith booster and New Testament Bible study. In Matthew 24, Jesus gives clear prophecy about the destruction of the temple and about His return at the end of the age. We should be very aware of what He states are the signs prior to His return and to be knowledgeable so that we are not deceived by false teachers and doctrine.
Please join me this Thursday at 6 PM for Weekly Word Outdoor Adventures, featuring “A Good Whipping”. Being corrected can be tough and some of us know that a good whipping can leave a lasting impression of behavior correction. Psalm 104:1-35 Old Testament Bible Study Oct 18, 2026

Welcome to our Sunday evening Old Testament Bible Study. Psalm 103 is a nature psalm which makes our heart want to praise the Lord for His wonderful creation. The psalmist observes heaven and earth which then leads to giving credit to the creator God. All of nature is under the dominion of the Lord and provision is made to sustain life as He has ordained. From everlasting to everlasting, the glory of the Lord shall endure forever!

Matthew 23:1-39 New Testament Bible Study Oct 14, 2026

Welcome to our midweek faith booster and New Testament Bible study. In Matthew 23 Jesus speaks harshly to the Scribes and Pharisees as He pronounces “Woe” to them for their religiosity which benefits only them. Jesus criticizes the hypocrisy of the Scribes and Pharisees and in doing so stresses that true worship is sincere and God honoring with the need for “justice, mercy and faithfulness”. After His stern corrections, the chapter concludes with the love and desire Jesus has for His children to repent. Jesus compares His desire to be reconciled and protect His flock to that of a mother hen gathering her chicks under her wing.
