Ever felt invisible in a crowded room? Like you're smiling on the outside but hurting on the inside? You're not alone

This week we discovered the story of Hagar in Genesis 16, a woman who felt abandoned and unseen in the wilderness. But here's the powerful truth: she encountered God right there in her pain. She became the first person to give God a name. El Roi, "The God Who Sees Me."

You may feel unseen by people, but you have NEVER been unseen by God. He doesn't just notice you today, He pursues you. He knows your anxiety, your struggles, your pain, and still says, "I love you. You matter."

Join us as we continue our "You Matter" series. The Podcast is out now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Your current season in the wilderness doesn't define your worth, the cross does.

What are you worth? Not based on your job, your mistakes, or what you do, but based on what someone was willing to pay for you.

This Memorial Day weekend, we remember those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. But there's an even greater sacrifice we celebrate: Jesus didn't die for a future version of you, Romans 5:8 says He died "while we were still sinners." Your value isn't determined by who you'll become, it's already settled by the cross.

The enemy whispers you're worthless, forgotten, too far gone.
But if the price paid determines value of something, then you are worth more than you ever realized, because Christ died for you. You matter and what you do matters greatly because of whose you are.

What does the church in 2026 really need to look like? Not a performance. Not a crowd. But a FAMILY.
This Mother's Day, we celebrated the heart of what makes the church real; the faithfulness, sacrifice, love, and prayer that mothers embody. Romans 12:9-12 reminds us to "be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." That's not just motherhood, it’s what the church should be.
In Acts 2:42-47, the early church wasn't just gathering crowds, they were building family. They were devoted, generous, and real with each other. They asked the questions we're still asking: Will someone know my name? Can I be honest here? Will someone walk with me through my hardest season?
The future of the church isn't about buildings or technology. It's about whether we'll truly live like family; faithful when tired, loving when unappreciated, showing up when nobody notices, and bringing life to everyone around us. That's what moms do. That's what the church should do.

What defines success in your life? In 2026, we're chasing public moments while missing the private decisions that truly matter. Real success isn't found in achievements or social media highlights, it's found in who you're becoming.

Three essentials for lasting success: Start with the RIGHT FOUNDATION (Matthew 7:24-25). Get clear DIRECTION by trusting God, not your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Practice daily DISCIPLINE, because you won't rise to your goals, but you will fall to your habits (1 Corinthians 9:24-25).

Whether you're graduating, parenting, working, or in your reflective years, this message is for you. Don't let chasing something become more important than becoming someone.

Is church worth it? That's the question everyone's asking in 2026.

Here's the truth: If following Jesus isn't changing you, you're not really following, you're just observing.

God didn't save you just to keep you out of hell. He wants to transform your entire life. Romans 12:2 says, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." He's not trying to improve your life, he's trying to completely transform it. Like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, He wants you to be unrecognizable from who you used to be.

Transformation happens through God's Word (truth), people who walk with you (relationships), and actually living it out (obedience). If you're the same person you were years ago, something might be missing.

Ask yourself: Am I thinking differently? Am I living differently? If nothing's changing, what's the point?

The question isn't what church looks like in 2026.

It's what does YOUR presence reveal about Jesus? In 2 Corinthians 4, Paul warns against watering down God's Word. In 2026, we need less polish and more presence. Less performance and more honesty.

The front door to church isn't our building anymore—it's YOUR life. People are scrolling through social media, watching how you live, and deciding if Jesus is real based on what they see in you.

Here's the challenge: What if we stopped pretending and started being present? What if we showed empathy to those carrying burdens we can't see? People don't need another program—they need authentic disciples who will walk with them through the valleys, not just celebrate on the mountaintops.

The way you live Monday through Saturday reflects what you believe about who God is.

The disciples locked themselves in a room after the resurrection—not because Jesus wasn't alive, but because they were still afraid. Sound familiar?
In 2026, the biggest struggle isn't whether we believe Jesus rose from the dead. It's whether we're living like it actually changed us. We believe in Christ but still live afraid of what others think.

Jesus didn't just calm the disciples—He commissioned them. "As the Father sent me, so I send you" (John 20:21). The resurrection wasn't meant to create just a moment; it was meant to create a movement.

So here's the question for this week: Do you live afraid, or do you live like you're alive? The tomb is empty. The door is unlocked. It's time to leave the room.
