A backpack may seem small, but for many foster and adoptive families, back-to-school expenses add up quickly.

This June, we’re partnering with Resource Collective to help provide school supplies for local children in foster and adoptive homes through their Back to School Bash.

Our church is collecting these specific items:
- Mechanical pencils
- Disinfectant wipes
- Stainless steel water bottles (24 oz preferred)

Our hope is that every child walks away prepared and every family feels supported heading into a new school year! If you’d like to participate, donations can be dropped off in the lobby all throughout June.

TOMORROW NIGHT (6/3) at 6pm - Join us for our First Wednesday Picnic + Baptism at Red Clay Resort! We'll have fried chicken & pizza provided, just bring a side to share! (*If you have food allergies or specific dietary needs, we recommend bringing your own meal.) It will be a great evening of withness and worship as we spend time together eating, swimming, playing, and celebrating what God is doing in our church through worship and baptisms. We can't wait to see you there!

- Bring chairs or blankets to sit on and swimsuits + towels if you'd like to swim

We all feel it: that longing for something more.

Ecclesiastes reminds us that God has placed eternity in our hearts. No achievement, possession, experience, or relationship was ever meant to fully satisfy what only He can satisfy.

This morning we were challenged to find our pleasure in the Giver, not just the gift, and to invest our hearts in what lasts forever.

As the school year wraps up, we have an opportunity to help local foster and adoptive families prepare for the next one.

Throughout June, we’ll be collecting supplies for the Foster & Adopt Back to School Bash hosted by Resource Collective. The goal is simple: help every child leave with a fully stocked backpack and help relieve some of the financial pressure foster families often carry.

These practical needs make a real difference and can even help families feel more equipped to say “yes” to future placements!

Items we’re collecting (any brand of each):
- Stainless steel water bottles (24 oz preferred)
- Disinfectant wipes
- 10–12 count packs of mechanical pencils

You can drop donations off throughout the month of June in the lobby! Thank you for helping care for families in our community in tangible ways.
