We are happy to announce the college retreat for Spring 2023 which will take place at the Ashland Woods Fellowship Center from March 17-19.

The topic for the weekend is "Walking with the Lord." We are impressed by how the Bible describes Christ in so many aspects that are meant to be experienced by us. We hope that we leave the weekend eager and equipped to experience Christ daily in the vast richness of His person. Hey all,

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving break was full of family, friends, gratitude, and good rest.There are a few different events going on in December, some before finals week and some during break.

First, this upcoming weekend, Dec. 4th and 5th will be the first in-person Metro Cleveland Jubilee since before the pandemic. The Jubilee gathering is a special time for all our sister churches in the Metro-Cleveland area to meet together. There will be 2 gatherings at Chuch in Cleveland Hall 1 on the west side of Cleveland:

Dec 4th, Saturday, 6:30pm - singing and testimonies from brothers and sisters from China and from the US who are participating in the 10-month Labor with Titus Chu.
Dec 5th, Sunday, 9:00am - breakfast all together, 10am - singing and sharing from the word

We highly encourage everyone to go to both of these times, they are a unique opportunity to have fellowship with many believers from all over Cleveland. Also, the testimonies from the brothers and sisters in China are sure to be both challenging and encouraging to us.

Second, there will be a New Year's Conference from Friday evening December 31st to Sunday noon, January 2nd. This will also be held in Cleveland. More details are forthcoming.

Third, there will be a Winter Conference Warm Up time for college students. This will be held in Chicago from Dec 28-31. Participation in the New Year's Conference afterwards is a prerequisite for this time. Details are as follows:

Who: All who are college-age, including seniors in high school and related serving ones. Young working saints are invited as well.
When: December 28th - 31st, 2021. *We will begin checking in participants at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, December 28th at the Chicagoan’s Hall.
Kindly arrive on or after the designated time. Please have dinner before coming; we will not provide dinner Tuesday evening. *We will conclude Friday, December 31st 10 am to facilitate travel to Cleveland.
Where: Church of the Chicagoans Meeting Hall. 5518 West Gettysburg St. Chicago, IL. All room and board is provided.
Suggested Donation: $80
Registration Is Due By Sunday, December 15st, 2021

Good morning!

Thank you to everyone who came to our open house on Sunday. It was so nice to be able to reconnect with some old faces and to meet new faces as well! It was also great getting to meet some of you around campus yesterday!

We wanted to reach out and share some of the events we're hosting, beginning tomorrow evening with a game night :) All of the events will be held at the Magnolia (Mag) House, unless otherwise noted. The address is 11020 Magnolia Drive, Cleveland, OH 44106.

One thing to note is that if you want to join a CWRU small group Bible study, you only need to join one of the days/times, as we plan on continuing to have these Bible studies throughout the semester and will try to stick to the same groups that we form within the next two weeks.

Hi guys! I just wanted to spread awareness of a new website that some of our very own members have been working on.

It's called Tapestry and is found at www.onetapestry.com. It has a bunch of articles by college-aged Christians covering a whole range of topics, including: mental health, social issues, creative writing, book reviews, and more!

I've been reading the posts myself and I can testify that they are very well written and are quite thought-provoking! A good site to put in your "down-time, procrastinating, looking for something interesting on the internet rotation." (I also recommend signing up for the email newsletter!)

They're also always looking for more contributors, so if you feel you have something to add, I know they are more than willing to work with you!

Welcome! The Oasis On Magnolia is a Christian house near CWRU campus. We wish to serve our community, live a church life together, and testify of Christ where we live.

The pandemic may have changed a lot of things, but people's need for community and fellowship remains undiminished. Therefore, we hope that this space can safely become a real home away from home for all to come. Come to chat, study, play music, or have a latte or a fresh cup of coffee with us!

We also host many different events at this house and online (11020 Magnolia Drive).

Primarily, there is a Sunday gathering outside on the side porch, every Sunday 4-5pm. Please wear a mask and refrain from coming if you feel unwell.

There are also various bible studies and small groups throughout the week. Please contact us if you are interested in getting involved with one of those.

All are welcome! We would love to get to know you!
