---The rich heritage of Jonas Temple can be traced back to one man--Bishop Mack E. Jonas and his attendance at a street revival in Los Angeles. The Pentecostal convictions that he found there, along with leadership from the national church, has given us a leg

acy and framework of true holiness. The fruits of his labor, along with many other pioneers, can be evidenced though the dynamic leadership, which we have been blessed to have. His successor, Bishop Robert L. Chapman continued carrying the blood stained banner for Christ and passed the torch to our current Pastor, Bishop Clifford L. Through research we can cultivate and develop an appreciation for our past. Armed with this knowledge we must accept the charge to grow in grace and soar to newer levels in our press towards the prize of the high calling of Jesus Christ.
