BREAKING NEWS: TWO CHILI CONTENDERS, TWO VERY DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO VICTORY

With just 48 hours remaining until the Dolen Baptist Church Chili Cook-Off, tensions are rising and contestants are making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Former champion David King appears to have skipped the competition entirely and moved straight to celebrating his victory, while David Evans has taken a considerably more hands-on approach to securing fresh ingredients.

One man is already eating cake. The other is eating dirt.

The competition will take place Saturday, Oct. 31 starting at 4 p.m

DAVID JOSEPH CLAIMS TO KNOW THE SECRET PROCESS THAT MAKES BEANS WORK IN CHILI!

In a stunning development ahead of the Dolen Baptist Church Chili Cook-Off, David Joseph has revealed that he possesses knowledge of a mysterious process capable of transforming ordinary beans into something extraordinary.

What exactly is this process? Nobody knows.

Joseph has refused to explain how it works, where he learned it, or what happens to the beans during the transformation.

Sources close to the investigation report unusual activity in Joseph’s kitchen, strange ingredients appearing at odd hours, and a level of secrecy normally reserved for classified government operations.

That's why Wednesday Night Kids' Club, part of our Kids' Connect Children's Ministry at Dolen Baptist Church, is more than just another activity on the calendar.

It's a time for children to reconnect, build friendships, feel encouraged, and grow closer to Jesus in a welcoming, Christ-centered environment.

From our tiniest babies in Little Pieces (nursery–age 3) to our young learners in Growing Pieces (Pre-K/Kindergarten) and our older children in Connect Crew (1st–6th grade), every child has a place to belong!

Each group offers age-appropriate Bible study, fellowship, and activities designed to help children discover God's love, build a foundation of faith, and develop meaningful connections with others.

John Thurman showcased his angelic singing voice during Sunday morning worship, just days before the highly anticipated chili cook-off!

While some praised his heavenly vocals, others questioned whether the performance was a calculated distraction from ongoing allegations of questionable cooking methods, including rumors of roadkill in his chili.
