Tonight was such a sweet and memorable Kids’ Night Out. We are so thankful for the opportunity to spend an evening with these kids, have fun together, and most importantly, point them toward God.

Our lesson focused on Joshua and the Israelites crossing the Jordan River. We talked about what true bravery and courage look like and how courage is not about never being afraid. It is about trusting God even when we are.

We also talked about the twelve stones the Israelites took from the Jordan as a reminder of God’s faithfulness. The kids got to crack open their own geodes as a fun way to connect with that part of the story. We hope those little treasures will remind them of Joshua’s courage and of the God who is always faithful.

The evening was filled with laughter and fun as we played in a tent, enjoyed hot dogs and s’mores, and made a beautiful craft inspired by Psalm 19:1.

We are incredibly grateful for each child who joined us tonight and for the joy they bring with them. We pray that the lessons they learn and the memories they make will stay with them long after the evening is over.
We can’t wait to see you at Kids’ Night Out next month!
