Oak Shade BC Brief History of Oak Shade Baptist Church
Founded on July 4th, 1857 we are the second oldest Baptist witness in Liberty County.

Beginning in a one room log school house about a half mile south of our present location, OSBC has for many years served as lighthouse to the community around. Being an “old church” doesn’t mean we aren’t progressive in nature. We continue to seek ways to be relevant to our community and minister to those we are here to serve
