We are so thankful for our pastors at First Baptist. Today I want to lift up Pastor Chris Smith who keeps everything running smoothly at church. He is one who listens to all of us and responds with curtesy and respect. He has a big heart for missions and a servant’s heart. He is always ready to do good works in the community and help those in need. He is an example to us all. I pray God’s favor on him and his family.

Join our Church Ladies in attending this conference. It is on a Saturday in January and is $40. No assigned seats.

You are invited to join us for Living Light – Letting Go of What You Were Never Meant to Carry with Jennifer Rothschild. Sometimes ministry begins simply by being present.

As a corporate chaplain, Lydia Greear walks alongside employees through grief, family struggles, loneliness, addiction, health challenges, anger, stress, and loss. She listens, encourages, prays, and helps connect people with resources they need.

Through these relationships, God often opens the door for Lydia to share about Jesus and His redeeming love.

🙏 Pray for Lydia’s safety as she visits workplaces throughout northern Florida and serves employees in many different environments.

Tuesday our church staff took a Chicken Express lunch to the students of Hill College Cleburne campus. This was the first meeting of the Baptist Student Ministry Bible study in the student center. Campus Missionaries, Marissa Inman and Sydney Marwitz, come from Tarleton University on Tuesdays to lead the group. Please pray for them as they lead this group. Pray for lives to be changed.

Our FBC youth spent time on the Big Island of Hawaii leading a Children’s Day camp at a church where Danny Beth Crosby is on staff. Instead of helping, they were leading, which is a big transition. They had a great time and worked hard.
