A Word From The Lord Through Pastor Richard Goodwill - -

Welcome to another day created by God for you. You may not always feel like you belong to God's family, but thank God it isn't a matter of feelings that gives you the confidence, because the truth is you are His child. What often betrays us? Feelings and emotions. God is faithful to His promises, always is. He gifted you with the Holy Spirit, your confidence, yes, especially when you think your confidence may have taken some time off. His presence reminds you of who you are, God's redeemed son or daughter. The Holy Spirit is with you when your prayers are slow to come. If you are hurting, struggling, or suffering, God is there with you. During one of those days, Jesus said we would experience feeling He has forgotten you, the Holy Spirit reminds you that Jesus never forgets you, and your hope is in HIM. "Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us." (Rom. 5:5). I know some of you are going through some stressful times and are hurting because a loved one is struggling through serious illness, or perhaps yourself. Just know God does care for you and your loved one or friend, and He will do what is best for them and you, always. You belong to the family of God, and your Father loves us, always, no matter what we face.

A Word From The Lord Through Pastor Richard Goodwill - -

Good Sunday morning, God's faithful; it's time to come to the Lord's House. Worship is our response to God, to raise our prayers and songs of praise to our glorious God. We praise Him for his blessings of forgiveness, peace, and a place in heaven because of Jesus’s sacrifice for our sins. Our everyday life is a response to God and thus an act of worship. I Ch.16: "Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day." “I love you, Lord, and I lift my voice to worship you, oh my soul rejoice. Take joy, my King in what you hear; may it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear.” Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples...Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”. How we daily live out our faith, showered with God's grace, is an act of worship as we prepare to "proclaim His salvation day after day..." God bless you as you worship God today with the family of faith in God’s House of Prayer.

A Word From The Lord Through Pastor Richard Goodwill - -
A blessed Saturday morning, dear people of faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. This morning, we will join family and friends, along with a large number of people gathered to witness and celebrate another of life’s rites of passage. High School seniors are about to be former seniors. Among the seniors will be our youngest granddaughter; our baby is all grown up. Where did those 17 years of her life go? It seems not so long ago she and the other two grandkids loved being at our house, baking cookies and waffles, watching Tom and Jerry and Chip and Dale, then spreading all the toys on the living room floor and playing for hours without a care in the world. Lesson number 1: Time waits for no man…we are not the masters of time nor the keepers that belong only to God. “Teach us( me) to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom” Ps 90:12 “When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me” 1 Cor.13:11. Now all 5 of our grandchildren have left childhood for the Big people world. “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” Ecc 3:11. Make every day count. Don’t wait until tomorrow because there is no guarantee of tomorrow. Time will fly right in front of our eyes. Relationships matter; we were created to be in relationship with God and each other. Love God and each other, today, every day.
