What are our church leaders up to on a Wednesday afternoon? Today they blessed teachers at Adam’s Elementary with a treat filled WooWoo Wagon. The theme was “We want to Fill Your Cup”. They had carts filled with specialty items, treats, and drinks for teachers to pick from. They also had drawings for gift cards to places teachers could go to for special drinks.

Seven children that have been baptized this past year have been attending our New Christian Class on Sunday afternoons and seven youth have been attending with them to begin to develop mentor relationships. It has been so much fun to see them learn important principles and to develop good spiritual habits. We have one more week to go. Be praying for Fisher, Kase, Finley, Faith, Piper, Khalea, and Grace.

This Sunday our youngest were learning that God made the farm animals. He is the Creator. Our Sunday morning Childrens’ teachers are fantastic at laying a foundation for faith in our little ones.

We are so thankful for our pastors at First Baptist. Today I want to lift up Pastor Chris Smith who keeps everything running smoothly at church. He is one who listens to all of us and responds with curtesy and respect. He has a big heart for missions and a servant’s heart. He is always ready to do good works in the community and help those in need. He is an example to us all. I pray God’s favor on him and his family.

Our Preschoolers are learning to let their light shine. Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Is your light shining?

We love 💕 Wednesday Night Kids at First Baptist Cleburne . . . snacks, friends, Jesus! This group learned that Jesus picked them just like we pick a pumpkin.

Our Children’s discipleship takes place each Sunday morning at 9:15 (Sunday School). If you want your child to spend time learning the stories of Jesus and how to apply their message, join us next Sunday.

If you have a young (K-5th grade) new Christian in your family, they are welcome to attend our New Christian Class that is coming up in October.
