We're taking the next big step for our project El Rebaño Del Guerrero, and we need your help to build it! 🧱✨

To keep our community development and youth mentorship programs thriving, we are upgrading our facility in Baja California. Our immediate project is constructing a secure boundary wall, along with new stairs and a sidewalk, ensuring the space is safe, accessible, and ready for our youth.

We believe in complete transparency with our HEAL Outreach family, so here is the exact breakdown of the labor and supply costs we need to cover to make this happen:

🛠 The Project Breakdown:

Main Building Materials: $1,710

Covers the 300 cinderblocks, 38 sacks of cement, 54 pieces of rebar, wire, and hardware.

Sand & Gravel: $260

Estimated cost for one full dump-truck load of the sand and gravel mixture needed for the concrete.

Local Labor Costs: $1,385

Covers the specialized masonry work for the wall ($1,040) and the stairs/sidewalk ($345).

It’s never just been about building a gym.

When you look at these mats, you might just see kids learning Jiu-Jitsu. But for youth navigating the realities of trauma, addiction, or instability in their communities, these mats represent something entirely different: control.
This is why we lay the blocks. This is why we are building the sanctuary.

At Heal Outreach's "El Rebaño Del Guerrero", physical training is the gateway. When the outside world is chaotic, this room is the anchor. On these mats, they aren't just learning how to escape a hold; they are learning how to manage stress, regulate their emotions, and rely on a collective that actually has their back. They are building the mental resilience required to break generational cycles before they take root.

We are doing the work on the ground here in Baja, but keeping these doors open and these programs running takes a village.

Every safe haven starts from the ground up 🧱

This is what building a sanctuary actually looks like on the ground here in Baja. No filters, just sweat equity.
In the top photos, we’ve broken ground and dug the trench for the retaining wall that will secure our front entrance and patio area. But the bottom left photo is what this is really all about. Our youth are sitting on the mats right next to the exact footprint where the new stacked bathroom facility and community kitchen will be built.
Right now, it’s just dirt, trenches, and cinder blocks. But with every shovel of dirt we move, we are one step closer to finishing a permanent, safe space where this collective can train, drop their guard, and build the resilience they need for the future.

We are doing the heavy lifting, but we need your backing to fund the concrete, the plumbing infrastructure, and the raw materials to finish the job.

When you grow up surrounded by chaos, trauma, or addiction, you don't need another lecture. You need a safe place to land.

A physical space where the noise stops, your guard can finally drop, and you can just breathe.

That’s exactly what HEAL Outreach Inc. is building right now in Baja California with our initiative, El Rebaño Del Guerrero (The Warrior’s Flock).

We aren’t a clinic or a reentry program. We’re a community stepping up before things fall apart. We are literally putting blocks in the ground to build a multi-level sanctuary, complete with a training floor, a community kitchen, and the kind of hard truth mentorship that actually prepares these teens for adulthood.

We’re showing up to break the cycle, but we need backing to get the walls up.

The concrete, the plumbing, the wall mats, it all takes resources.

Seeing the next generation step up to serve is one of our absolute greatest joys. ❤️

Recently, the youth from El Rebaño Del Guerrero had the incredible opportunity to partner with the for another house painting project right here in our community. Together, this hardworking crew spent the day transforming the home of a very deserving elder woman.

There is something so special about watching these kids apply the discipline, respect, and heart they learn in our community out in the real world. They worked tirelessly, laughed a lot, and poured so much love into this project to make sure this sweet woman felt seen, valued, and cared for.

A massive thank you to for teaming up with us again, and to our amazing youth for being the hands and feet of love in our neighborhood. We can't wait for the next one! 🎨🙌🏡

🚀 HUGE Updates at HEAL Outreach! 🚀

We’ve had incredible momentum lately, and we are so grateful for the community coming together to support our youth Jiu-Jitsu program "El Rebaño Del Guerrero"

It doesn't stop here 🙏 but here is a look at all the recent progress:

💸 Room to Grow: A massive thank you to Jay Nelson and his wife for their generous donation, which allowed us to purchase 20 more mats! The teens are already taking full advantage of the extra space on the floor to train.

🕊️No More Birds: Huge shout out to the guys from Rafa's house for bringing the muscle to help us move and install our new big sliding glass door. It looks amazing, and as an added bonus, we finally don't have birds flying inside!

💡Powering Up: Thank you to Don for getting the land cleared and stepping up to get our new lights and electrical installed.

🚜Clearing the Path: And a huge thanks to our property owner Felix for jumping in and helping us clear out all the excess rocks and rubble from the site.

It takes an incredible team to make this vision a reality, and we are so blessed by everyone who has lent a hand, donated, or supported the mission.

The Concrete is Getting Too Close. 🥋🇲🇽

If you’ve been following El Rebaño Del Guerrero, you know this isn't just a hobby for these kids. It’s where "tough kids" find discipline, where the shy ones find their voice, and where we’re building a family that starts on the mats and follows them home.

But we have a serious problem:

Our mats are failing.

We’re at the point where a hard takedown means hitting the concrete. We are not looking for a "luxury" gym setup. We just need to get these athletes onto a safe, professional-grade (gently used) floor so they can train without injury.

The Goal:
$1,800

This amount covers a full set of quality used mats to give these kids a solid foundation.

Building Warriors, Building Community. 🥋 🤝

Iron sharpens iron, and sometimes... paint sharpens character 🫟 🙏

Huge shout out to our partners at for letting us come alongside them for this project in Baja. We brought the youth from our Jiu-Jitsu team out to paint a home for a deserving family in our community.
It’s one thing to coach these kids in technique; it’s another to watch them serve with humility and joy. This is the heart of HEAL Outreach.
