Pastor Ed talked a lot about being Christ’s ambassadors and bringing His Kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven.

Helping us understand James 2 he encourages us to ask a harder question:

Are we actually representing the King?

James warns us not to show favoritism. Not to give the wealthy the best seat while overlooking the poor. Not to value people based on what they have, how they look, what they can offer us, or how the world ranks them.

Because the Kingdom of God doesn’t operate by the world’s measuring stick.

As Christ’s ambassadors, we are called to respond differently.

We love differently.
We welcome differently.
We see people differently.
We serve differently.

Faith isn’t just something we say we have. James tells us that genuine faith shows up in how we treat people.

If we are praying, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven,” then we have to be willing to become the answer to that prayer.

No favoritism. No partiality. No hierarchy of human worth.

Just people made in the image of God, treated with the dignity, mercy, and love that reflects their Creator.

That’s Kingdom living.

And that’s the responsibility of every ambassador. ✝️

This is your reminder to pray today.

Not the long, polished, “I have it all together” kind.

The messy kind.
The “I don’t even know what to say” kind.
The 20-second kind in the car.
The kind where you just say His name.
He’s not waiting for you to get it right first.
He’s already listening.
Pray anyway. 🙏

“What a beautiful sight to behold— the precious feet of the messenger coming over the mountains to announce good news! He comes to refresh us with wonderful news, announcing salvation to Zion and saying, “Your Mighty God reigns!””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭52‬:‭7‬ ‭

Come to the Well and be renewed. It’s a night of revival and outpouring by our precious Alexi and Tyler Szemesi.

SALVATION IS BIGGER THAN “GOING TO HEAVEN.”

Pastor Rebekah preached from James 1:19–27 today, and this is here to bring you back to life.

Salvation isn’t just about where we go when this life is over. It’s about what God wants to do IN us, FOR us, and THROUGH us right now.

Healing.
Preservation.
Wholeness.
Protection.
Safety.
Restoration.

It’s about bringing heaven to earth AND learning to recognize God’s presence in the middle of our mess!!

Because God never promised we wouldn’t go through trials.

He promised He would be with us IN them.

Not just waiting on the other side.
Not just preparing us before they come.
With us while we walk through them.

Guiding us. Sustaining us. Protecting us.
And ultimately leading us to the other side.

And James reminds us: don’t just HEAR the Word.

LIVE IT.

Maybe the miracle isn’t always God removing the trial.

Maybe sometimes it’s discovering that He is right there in the middle of it and He’s making you whole as you walk through it. 🙌

That’s salvation.
That’s faith in action.
That’s bringing a little bit of heaven to earth. ❤️‍🔥

You have to do all three-

A. Hear
B. Receive
C. Obey

Where are you stuck? Are you a doer of the word of God?

Your faith is meant to be lived in your head, your heart, and your hands.

Sometimes you can have everything money can buy and still feel empty inside.

Zacchaeus had wealth, status, and success, but when he heard Jesus was coming to town, something in him wanted more.

He just wanted to see Jesus.

And sometimes, that’s where transformation begins.

Not with having all the answers.

Not with having it all together.

Just with the desire to get a glimpse of Him.

Because one glimpse of Jesus can change everything.

What are you willing to climb for just to see Him? ❤️

Pastor Rebekah reminds us that our new life in Jesus is not running from the fire.
James doesn’t sugarcoat it:

“Consider it pure joy… whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

The fire isn’t punishment.

It’s the process.

The mess, the heat, the things that leave soot on your hands and questions in your chest… those are the exact places where double-mindedness gets burned off and real unity starts to form.

You can’t build a body that holds together if everyone’s still afraid of the refining.

So we step in. We get dirty. We ask for wisdom without flinching. And we trust that the same God who tests the faith is the God that advances the kingdom.

Be who God says you are, today and every day, so you can make it to the promised land 🙏❤️

Sitting in church this morning and Pastor Rebekah was talking about how Jesus kept stepping outside the rabbinical traditions of His day.

He was not trying to be rebellious for the sake of it, but He meant to call people straight to Himself.

He didn’t wait for the polished, the approved, or the ones who already “fit.”

He looked at the ones the religious system (and the world) had already dismissed and said, “Follow Me.”

There’s something that hits different about that.

The world can look at you and essentially say, “Go live your life… over there.” Quiet dismissal. Polite rejection. You’re free to exist, just not here with us.

And then Jesus looks at the exact same person and says the opposite: “Follow Me.”

Not “fix yourself first.”❌Not “prove you belong.”❌

Just… come with Me!!

Grateful for a gospel that doesn’t wait for us to be acceptable before it invites us close.

Dream girl & co taught us that friendship isn’t just about who makes you laugh.
It’s about who makes you look more like Christ.

Not every kind person is meant to be your closest person.
Not every longtime friend is a lifelong assignment.

Kingdom culture requires different standards than worldly culture.

🚩 If someone celebrates compromise…
🚩 Makes gossip feel normal…
🚩 Constantly pulls you away from your convictions…
🚩 Is only around when you’re useful…
🚩 Is offended by your obedience to God…

…those aren’t just personality differences. They’re red flags.

The people closest to you will shape what you normalize, what you tolerate, and ultimately who you become.

Choose friends who pray with you instead of just venting with you.
Who lovingly correct you instead of enabling you.
Who celebrate holiness more than popularity.
Who point you back to Jesus when life gets messy.

Protecting your peace isn’t selfish.
Guarding your heart isn’t judgment.
It’s wisdom.

Kingdom friendships don’t just make life more fun—they make eternity the priority.

Who you walk with matters.

“Walk with the wise and become wise.” — Proverbs 13:20
