Today, Pentecost, we celebrate what is considered the “birthday” of the Church.
🕊️🌲🎉
At Pentecost we decorate our churches with flowers and green branches—for the Church “never grows old, but is always young.” It is an evergreen, ever-living Tree of grace and life, of joy and comfort. For the Holy Spirit—“the Treasury of Blessings and Giver of Life—comes and abides in us, and cleanses us from all impurity,” and fills our life with meaning, love, faith and hope.

Great and Holy Wednesday
"When the glorious disciples were enlightened at the washing of their feet before the supper, then the impious Judas was darkened, ailing with avarice and to the lawless judges he betrays Thee, the righteous Judge. Today we celebrate the feast of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, nine months before Christmas— the due date of all due dates! We celebrate the announcing of the birth of Christ to the Virgin Mary as told in the Gospel of Saint Luke.

Join us as we celebrate Vesperal Liturgy this evening at 6:00pm. Dinner to follow.
