Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park We are the Washington area’s only multi-congregational, non-profit Jewish cemetery.

REMINDER - The Garden of Remembrance Office will be closing at 1:00 pm on Friday, Sept. 11 for Erev Rosh Hashanah. The grounds will be open until 4:00 pm.

The Office and Grounds will be closed on Saturday and Sunday for Shabbat and Rosh Hashanah.

Nearly 400 people joined us yesterday at our annual Garden of Remembrance High Holy Day Season Community Memorial Service.

We thank our community clergy who led our two inspiring services:
Rabbi Susan Shankman & Cantor Susan Bortnick (Washington Hebrew Congregation), Rabbi Nissan Antine (Beth Sholom Congregation), Rabbi Baht Weiss (Temple Beth Ami), Cantor Marshall Kapell (B’nai Tzedek Congregation), Rabbi Michael Safra and Cantor Josh Perlman (B’nai Israel Congregation), Rabbi Marc Israel (Tikvat Israel), Hazzan Max Silverstone (Congregation Har Shalom), Cantor Ze’evi Tovlev (Temple Shalom)
