Jesus didn’t come simply to be a nice teacher or a gentle
miracle-worker. In John 9, He confronts religious pride, exposes
spiritual blindness, and reveals Himself as Lord.
One man was physically blind—but the people who claimed they could see
were the ones who couldn’t recognize Jesus.
The question for us is simple: Who is the Lord of your life?

Encountering God: Finding Forgiveness

Corrie Ten Boon was met by one of her N**i captors long after the war was over. The captor asked for her forgiveness, but she wasn’t willing to give it. He reached out to accept her hand in forgiveness and waited for hers. To get the moment over with she grabbed his hand mechanically and woodenly and to say he was forgiven. In that moment God’s love overwhelmed her and she truly forgave him. She said it was a life changing moment for her.
