Contending for the faith is very important anytime of the year. But allow me to tell you the importance and great benefit of this season. The Bible lets us know that each generation is becoming weaker but wiser. Plus, when we fail to contend for the faith Christmas loses its power. 1 Peter 3:1 is one of the prime scriptures that speaks of defense of the gospel. Basically it says that Christian believers are to make sure they Sanctify the Lord in their hearts, and be ready to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is within you with meekness and fear for the faith is basically to defend the gospel message. I encouraged you this Yuletide season to be bold in the faith, stand up for Jesus and He will stand up You!
