As we approach the Feast of the Holy Trinity this Sunday it is important to remember “The Holy Trinity brought the Church into being. The Father called the Church into existence. The Son established the Church. The Holy Spirit filled the Church with power and wisdom at Pentecost. The Holy Trinity abides with the Church always, creatively and providentially. (U.S. Catholic Catechism for Adults, 112-13)

On this Memorial Day heavenly Father, inscribe their sacrifices into our hearts so we may never forget the loss of all of our military heroes.

Capital Campaign –
Growing and Building Together
We are grateful and blessed for those who are honoring their pledge for our new formation/administrative building. As of May 12, the parish has received $1,316,530 or 43.6% of pledges. If you didn’t make a pledge, you can still support the new building by making a donation. There are envelopes on the capital campaign sign in the commons, or you can use electronic giving.
The parish is working on a site plan with civil engineers and the County for approvals to move forward with permitting. Many of you might have noticed the marking all around the property.
Harrison Design is moving forward with completion of the drawings for final approval from the Bishop and the diocesan Building and Renovations Commission.
Due to wetlands and storm water management issues on the current property some of the original dates have moved by 6 months. Anticipated groundbreaking/construction company mobilization has been moved to January 2027.
The new building is desperately needed to ensure our parish can continue to serve our community. The end is in sight, please continue your support.

We celebrate Pentecost this Sunday– Rooted in the Greek meaning fifty, this marks the fifty days after the resurrection. On this ‘birthday’ of the Church, Jesus gifted his followers with the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, who empowered his disciples to get out of the upper room and preach the Good News of Jesus Christ. At Pentecost we renew our commitment as disciples to get out of our comfort zone and preach Jesus Christ with our words and our actions. (CCC731-33)

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, dream, discover.” St. Brendan of Clonfert (b. 484) Feast Day May 16
