So thankful to have Daniel Wightman as our preacher, and his wonderful family! He sacrificed his hair for our youth group fundraiser! We surpassed our goal of $700 for world hunger, participated in the 30-hour famine, and raised money by having the church vote through their donations on what color hair the preacher should have for Sunday morning! Grateful for a preacher who is a great sport!!

Youth at the State Park...we took our lesson to the outdoors in May 2019. They went to different stations, read about different people/situations, prayed over these things, came back together and discussed what they had read and done. Also, we were visited by Canadian Geese who joined in on our group time...they really only came for the cheese doodles...😂🤣 Loved spending time with these great young adults in the great outdoors!! Come join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30

We truly enjoyed learning about the Hmong people from Dr. Yang’s daughters, Makayla and Priscilla. And we enjoyed spending time with their lovely family! The food they brought to share with us was wonderful and the presentation taught us so much! Thank you for sharing with us!

Attention Youth: these are the mission opportunities we have through the rest of the year. This week and next we are collecting NEW UNOPENED packages of underwear, in various children’s sizes. If you would like to donate, you can bring them in the next two Wednesday nights or Sunday morning. 😊

Thank you Orrs Baptist Church for your donations to the Peggy Johnson Youth Foundation Back to School Event on August 3! We dropped off 5 bags stuffed with supplies (photo attached)! Thanks again for being a blessing!! ❤️
