WHERE DO YOU WANT TO SIT?

LUKE 14:7-11

As we continue to follow in the footsteps of Jesus in the Word of God, Jesus begans to teach a parable about being humble. Jesus was watching the Pharisees and lawyers choose the seats of honor and recognition at these gatherings he was at. Jesus begans to warn them not to choose those places because someone more important might show up and you might be asked to leave that spot and then they would be embarrassed. He then challenges them to take the lesser seats. If they do that, the host might ask them to move up to the seats of honor and everyone will take notice. There is a great danger of being prideful, self righteous orthinking more highly of your than others. Stay humble and see how high the Master will take you. We had a great day recognizing some of our graduates today. We wish Isaiah, Caleb, Marlee and Wyatt (who couldn't make it today) all the best as they take the next step in their lives. We are proud of each of you. God bless you.

GOD HAS A PLAN

Jeremiah 29:11-13

Aren't you glad to know that God has a plan? For the children of Israel, they had messed up. They were in captivity. But God sent them a prophet with some instructions on what to do while they were in captivity. It wasn't you're usual instructions. Some false prophets were actually going against God's Word. But God gave them an encouraging word. He told them that He has a plan for them. There were certain things they had to do though. We have all messed up but God hasn't given up on us. God wants to encourage you that He has a plan for your life. We want to encourage these graduates to seek God's plan over their plan. Come join us as we honor and recognize these graduates on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 11:00 am. Sunday School at 10:00. **We will also have our 5th Sunday meal. Please bring sides and desserts for a great time of fellowship.**

WE WILL NOT FORGET

John 15:13

As we gather on Memorial Day Weekend, we are going to remember those who died by paying the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We are going to look at their sacrifice, their suffering and their significance. We thank God for all of our Heroes! We will also take the opportunity to look at the one who gives us spiritual freedom. There is only one! We will look at his sacrifice, suffering and significance also.
