It doesn’t have to be perfect or complicated… just intentional. Even a few minutes each day can make such a lasting impact.

🌷✨ MARCH AT KL KIDS ✨🌷

This month we’re jumping into a powerful new series called “UPSIDE DOWN” — where we’re learning that God’s way of living is often the opposite of what the world expects! 🙃💛

Our big idea for March is:
👉 Treat others the way Jesus treats you.

💡 Core Question: How does following Jesus influence the way I treat others?
📖 Memory Verse:
“Don’t do anything only to get ahead. Don’t do it because you are proud. Instead, be humble. Value others more than yourselves.” – Philippians 2:3 (NIrV)

Here’s what we’re learning each week:

✨ Week One (We kicked this off Sunday!)
📖 John the Baptist Is a Witness About Jesus — John 3:22–36
John showed true humility by pointing people to Jesus instead of himself.
⬆️ Bottom Line: Jesus must increase. I must decrease.

✨ Week Two
📖 A Roman Commander Has Faith — Matthew 8:5–13
A Roman officer trusted Jesus completely and recognized His authority.
🙏 Bottom Line: Remember God is most important.

✨ Week Three
📖 Be Humble / Love Your Enemies — Matthew 5:38–48
Jesus teaches us to love others — even when it’s hard and even when they’re unkind.
💛 Bottom Line: Love like Jesus even when it’s hard.

✨ Week Four
📖 Mary and Martha — Luke 10:38–42
Mary chose to sit with Jesus while Martha was distracted. We learn the importance of putting Jesus first.
🕊 Bottom Line: Make time for Jesus first.

✨ Week Five (Palm Sunday!)
🌿 Palm Sunday & Jesus Washes His Disciples’ Feet — John 12:9–16; 13:1–17
Jesus showed incredible humility by serving His disciples in a powerful way.
👣 Bottom Line: Jesus showed us how to be humble.

💟 It’s going to be an incredible month of learning about compassion, humility, and what it really means to put others first!

💛What an incredible few weeks in KL Kids!💛

We’ve been diving into God’s Big Story and discovering what it really means to love like Jesus!

Over the last three weeks we’ve learned:

🌎 God loves the whole world — every single person matters to Him!
❤️ Love God. Love others. — the most important commandment and the foundation for everything we do.
🙌 Jesus’ love changes lives! — just like Zacchaeus, when we experience His love, it transforms us for the better.

Our memory verse reminds us:
“I give you a new command. Love one another… just as I have loved you.” (John 13:34)

And we’re not done yet! 🎉

This week is our FINAL week in the series, and we’re going to learn how to show the love of Jesus to people in need. You won’t want to miss it!

We cannot WAIT to celebrate the birth of Jesus with YOU this weekend! Our KL Kids have been practicing, preparing, and praying—and they are ready to shine bright for Jesus! ⭐️

Join us this Sunday for a joyful, heartwarming, and absolutely adorable Christmas program filled with worship, Scripture, and the sweetest little voices lifting up the name of Jesus.
