๐ง ๐ RAP Session Recap: Why Mental Health Matters ๐๐ง
Yesterday, we successfully closed out Mental Health Awareness Month with an impactful RAP Session at Chesapeake Christian Center, where our Young Kings participated in a powerful panel-led discussion on Why Mental Health Matters.
The conversation focused on emotional wellness, self-awareness, healthy coping skills, overcoming challenges, and the importance of seeking support when needed. Our youth engaged in meaningful dialogue, asked thoughtful questions, and gained valuable insight from the experiences and perspectives shared by our panelists.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Chesapeake Christian Center for providing a welcoming space for these important conversations and for supporting efforts that help strengthen and empower our youth.
At Become a Man Without a Man (BMWM), we believe mentorship is about more than guidanceโit is about helping young people develop mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and socially so they can walk confidently in their purpose.
Thank you to our panelists, mentors, parents, volunteers, and community supporters who helped make yesterday's session a success.
๐ธ We are excited to share some highlights from today's RAP Session. Check out the photos below!
