Look who showed up this past Sunday at our 100th year anniversary celebration. These are 5 of our past pastors and our current pastor. From left to right they are Kirk Culpepper, current pastor; Andrew Schwartz, 2017-2022; Robert Robinson, 2006-2016; Ellen Comstock, 1993-1998; John Andrews, 1981-1984; and Robert Colfield, 1970-1978. Thanks for joining our service yesterday and celebrating Portlock UMC serving God and South Norfolk for 100 years.

A very special thank you to everyone who came out today and made our 100 Year celebration such a joy. And thank you to all of the folks who pitched in to decorate the sanctuary. The fellowship hall and everything was just wonderful. Lunch was great! Thanks again. And thank you to the five former pastors that came to join us. It was just a good day. We put the pressure on those that will be doing the 150 celebration.

It truly takes a village, and we’re so thankful for everyone who supported these two young men through donations, prayers, and coming out to the spaghetti dinner. Every bit of support is helping guide them closer to Christ, and we are so grateful. ❤️

Come join us tonight for the youth fundraiser at 5:00. Also, our theme for Sunday is "Portlock UMC serving God and South Norfolk for 100 years". If you are coming to our 11:00 am worship service the dress is clean casual.
