Help Preserve a Place of Peace

For many years, Triple Crane Retreat Center has welcomed people seeking peace, meditation, and spiritual growth.

Today, our retreat center faces a serious challenge. Years of Michigan's harsh weather have damaged the exterior siding, allowing rainwater to seep into the building. As a result, mold and water damage have appeared on the ceiling, and temporary repairs are no longer enough.

We are launching an Exterior Siding Restoration Project to permanently stop the leaks and protect this sacred space for future generations.

Our fundraising goal is $30,000.

Every donation—large or small—helps preserve a place where people can meditate, learn, heal, and find inner peace.

We warmly invite you and your animal companions to a special Animal Blessing Ceremony at the Triple Crane Retreat Center. This meaningful event is dedicated to the health, happiness, and spiritual well-being of pets and animals—honoring them as sentient beings deserving of care in this life and future lives.

Why Bless Animals?
animals are also sentient being, who seek peace and happiness. Animal blessing ceremonies help create positive karmic imprints and conditions for well-being, now and in the future.

What to Expect:
Animal Blessing may include:
2. Chanting and mantra recitation
3. Sitting, Walking Meditation and Circumambulation with Pets.
3. Sprinkling and offering of blessed water.
5. Exposure to sacred objects of temple.
6. A small blessed object for your pets to take home.

Information for day:
▪ All animals should be supervised at all times. Dogs should be leashed and under control. Other animals should be suitably contained, e.g., in a carrier.
▪ Shade and shelter available during the animal blessing event. Fresh water will be provided.

All are welcome. Come share this meaningful day of compassion, blessings, and connection with your beloved animal companions.

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude! On May 24th, we gathered to celebrate the 2026 Buddha Bathing Ceremony, and it was truly a day filled with pure joy, peace, and spiritual connection.

A massive thank you to our incredible volunteers—this beautiful event wouldn’t have been possible without your hard work and boundless dedication. We are also deeply honored and grateful to Khenpo Tshering Chophel for gracing us with his compassionate presence and blessings. And of course, thank you to everyone who came out to share this sacred day with us in person!
