First Church Imagine a diverse assortment of surrendered and transformed people; gripped by the idea that this is not about them, but all about Him!

We are apostolic in name and in doctrine, as identified in the Word of God. It is what we believe and it is who we are. We believe that Jesus is the only name where salvation can be found. We strive to be like Jesus in every aspect of our personal lives, and in our spheres of influence.

What does the prophet see that everyone else misses? Isaiah saw a throne when a nation saw crisis. Amos saw people being crushed beneath prosperity and worship. Jeremiah saw consequences forming long before anyone else believed judgment was coming. This week we ask what prophetic perception really is—and whether we have learned to look at the world without truly seeing it.

What if apocalyptic imagery is not meant to confuse us, but to reveal what power, empire, and spiritual conflict really look like from heaven’s point of view? This week we turn to Daniel and Revelation to ask what these visions expose—and what they demand from people waiting for Christ’s return.
