We serve as witness of the message of Christ through divine worship, teaching and Orthodox living. Our presiding priest is Father Thomas Manuel.

The Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church was established on September 22, 2006 and is part of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, in communion with the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

🕊️🔥 Blessed Feast of Pentecost! 🔥🕊️

Today we celebrated a beautiful and spirit-filled Divine Liturgy for the Great Feast of Pentecost at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church. Our church was filled with many faithful parishioners who gathered to worship and rejoice in the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the Church. ❤️⛪

Following the Divine Liturgy, we prayerfully participated in the beautiful Kneeling Prayers of Pentecost, asking the Holy Spirit to renew our hearts, strengthen our faith, and guide us in living the Gospel each day. 🙏🕊️

We were especially honored and blessed to welcome Father John Manuel, Presiding Priest of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Virginia Beach and the father of our beloved parish priest, Father Thomas. ☦️

At the conclusion of the service, Father John offered an inspiring sermon on the meaning of Pentecost, reminding us of the power of the Holy Spirit, the unity of the Church, and our calling to be faithful witnesses of Christ in the world. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this joyous feast day celebration. May the grace of the Holy Spirit continue to dwell in our hearts and guide us always.

🍔❤️ Yesterday our Feeding the Hungry Ministry gathered at Embry Rucker Shelter with hearts ready to serve and hands ready to help. Together, we grilled fresh burgers, prepared warm meals, and shared fellowship with our brothers and sisters in need. 🙏✨

What began with simple food became an evening filled with love, kindness, laughter, and the joy of serving Christ through serving others. 🕊️💙 Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, supported, and kept this ministry in your prayers. May God bless you abundantly!

Our Holy Cross seminarians meet with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew 1st at the Phanar. Flanked on either side of his all holiness are two young men associated with our Holy Apostles community:

Michael Pollatos- a son of the parish who plans to graduate from seminary at the end of 2026.

Deacon Demetri Dogias- from the San Francisco Metropolis but married a girl from Holy Apostles, Christina Kendrat.

Keep all of men and women who study to serve the church in your continual prayers.

Join us tomorrow as we celebrate the glorious Feast of the Holy Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ ☁️👑✨ and honor the holy Saints Constantine and Helen, Equal-to-the-Apostles 👑☦️👑

🌿 After His Resurrection, our Lord remained with His disciples for forty days, teaching and blessing them before ascending into Heaven in glory from the Mount of Olives ☁️🙏

📖 “This same Jesus, Who is taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner…” — Acts 1:11

❤️ Tomorrow we also commemorate Saint Constantine the Great, who defended the Christian Faith and ended the persecution of Christians, and his holy mother Saint Helen, who found the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of our Lord in Jerusalem ☦️🌍

Yesterday was absolutely amazing — beyond all expectations! ❤️
We are incredibly thankful to all our wonderful guests who came yesterday and shared this beautiful celebration with us. Your love, support, and joyful presence meant so much to our parish family! 🙏💙
