✨☦️ Feast of the Holy Apostle Jude (Thaddeus) ☦️✨

Today, June 19, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of the Holy Apostle Jude (Thaddeus), one of the Twelve Apostles and a kinsman of our Lord according to the flesh. 🙏📖

Saint Jude faithfully carried the Gospel of Christ throughout Mesopotamia, Arabia, Idumea, and Syria 🌍✝️, bringing countless souls to the knowledge of the true God. His apostolic ministry was crowned with martyrdom in Beirut, where he gave his life for the love of Christ. ❤️☦️

His name means “Praise” 🙌, and his life remains a shining example of faith, courage, and unwavering devotion to our Savior. ✨

☀️ What a blessed and joyful weekend at Holy Apostles!

Saturday, our GOYA Pool Party was a wonderful gathering filled with fellowship, laughter, fun, and friendship. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it such a memorable event for our youth! 🏊‍♂️☀️💦

Sunday, on the feast of Prophet Elisha and Saint Methodios, we gathered in worship and celebration as a parish family. ☦️

We also recognized and honored four young men from our parish who will be attending Hellenic College Holy Cross as they begin their journey of theological studies and discernment for future ministry. May God guide and strengthen them as they answer His call. 🙏📚

In addition, we celebrated Presvytera and Diaconissa Appreciation Day, offering our gratitude for the faithful service, love, and support of our clergy families. 🌹

⚾☦️ A memorable evening at Baltimore Orioles Greek Night! On June 9, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey threw the ceremonial first pitch at Camden Yards, celebrating Greek heritage and Orthodox faith alongside faithful from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. A wonderful night showcasing Hellenism, Orthodoxy, and community spirit! 🇬🇷

☦️✨ Sunday of All Saints – A Blessed and Joyful Day in Our Parish! ✨☦️

Today, on the Sunday of All Saints 🙏🌟, our parish family gathered in prayer, worship, and thanksgiving as we celebrated the Divine Liturgy and honored all the saints who have faithfully followed Christ and now intercede for us before His heavenly throne. 🕊️👑☦️

The Divine Liturgy was prayerfully led by our beloved parish priest, Father Thomas Manual 🙏⛪, together with our dear and faithful , Father Patrick Viscuso🙏, who regularly joins us and generously assists in serving our parish community. We are deeply grateful for their spiritual leadership, prayers, love, and dedication to God’s people. ❤️☦️

🎓📚 Following the Divine Liturgy, we celebrated our Sunday School Graduation! Congratulations to all of our graduates for their hard work, commitment, and growth in the Orthodox faith. 🎉👏 May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to guide your steps, strengthen your faith, and bless you abundantly in the years ahead. 🌟🙏💙

📊🤝 We also held our General Assembly, where parishioners came together to review and celebrate the many ministries, events, accomplishments, and activities that have taken place throughout our parish. It was a wonderful opportunity to share updates, discuss future plans, and witness the many ways God is working through our church family. ✨🏛️❤️

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to all of our clergy, Parish Council members, Sunday School teachers, ministry leaders, volunteers, donors, and faithful parishioners who dedicate their time, talents, and love to the life of our parish. What, then, can we learn from St. Raphael’s life as we celebrate 250 years of the American democratic experiment? We should be deeply grateful for figures like St. Raphael who cultivated the seeds of Orthodoxy in America. Just as American citizens look to the founding fathers of our nation and to the sacrifices they made to build a stronger and better country, so too should we should look to our own “founding fathers,” of Orthodoxy in America, learn from their witness, and make it our own. We must continue to nurture what has grown from their early labors, even as we welcome those who now embrace the Holy Orthodox Faith by choice.

Many helped plant the seeds of Orthodoxy in America, but few were as well-prepared for such labor as St. Raphael of Brooklyn.

☦️ Weekly Ministry Wrap-Up | June 3 ☦️

What a blessed and joy-filled week in the life of our parish!

🙏 St. Andrew’s Brotherhood Gathering (June 1)
Our men’s group came together for an evening of fellowship, prayer, food, and meaningful discussion. We are grateful to Fr. Thomas for his spiritual guidance and presentation on “Who Can Defend the Orthodox Faith, and Who Cannot?” It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our brotherhood in Christ and encourage one another in the faith.

🌿 GOYA Fellowship Lunch (May 31)
Following church, our GOYA youth enjoyed a wonderful lunch together at Silver Diner. The afternoon was filled with laughter, friendship, and fellowship as our youth spent time together building relationships and creating lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who joined and helped make it such a special gathering.

⛪ As we continue through this blessed season, we thank God for the opportunities to grow together as one parish family—young and old alike—through worship, fellowship, service, and faith.

May the Lord continue to strengthen our community, deepen our love for one another, and guide us in all that we do for His glory.
