ποΈπ₯ Blessed Feast of Pentecost! π₯ποΈ
Today we celebrated a beautiful and spirit-filled Divine Liturgy for the Great Feast of Pentecost at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church. Our church was filled with many faithful parishioners who gathered to worship and rejoice in the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the Church. β€οΈβͺ
Following the Divine Liturgy, we prayerfully participated in the beautiful Kneeling Prayers of Pentecost, asking the Holy Spirit to renew our hearts, strengthen our faith, and guide us in living the Gospel each day. πποΈ
We were especially honored and blessed to welcome Father John Manuel, Presiding Priest of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Virginia Beach and the father of our beloved parish priest, Father Thomas. β¦οΈ
At the conclusion of the service, Father John offered an inspiring sermon on the meaning of Pentecost, reminding us of the power of the Holy Spirit, the unity of the Church, and our calling to be faithful witnesses of Christ in the world. β€οΈ
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this joyous feast day celebration. May the grace of the Holy Spirit continue to dwell in our hearts and guide us always.
