Ever notice how following God can feel… paradoxical?
💡 Called out, yet sent in (1 Peter 2:9)
We are set apart from the world, yet sent back to shine in it.
A ship isn’t built for the harbor—it’s made for the journey. Comfort is not the mission.
💡 Different, yet present (Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 6:18)
We are not to be conformed, but transformed.
Standing out without stepping away.
💡 Rejected, yet living in love (Matthew 5:44)
Like Stephen, we should forgive even when it costs us.
Love in the face of rejection.
💡 Pilgrims on earth, citizens of heaven (Philippians 3:20)
We are just passing through—our true home is above.
It can appear to human reason as contradictory, irrational, or impossible but we should trust in the Lord and walk in the light you’ve been called into—and shine where you’re sent.
