In between trips to medieval "castles" and fun family lunches, Campus Ministry has been getting ready for our student-led worship service THIS SUNDAY! And it's going to be amazing, so you should join us, online or in person. And if you're local, we *mustache* you to stick around for our Murder Mystery potluck luncheon after worship. UCC Campus Ministry had an incredible time this past weekend being in community with each other and with folks from church. Friday night was Queering Faith 9.0 with and it was absolutely amazing! Students enjoyed food and conversation with The Many for brunch on Saturday, and had a lovely meal with The Wades after church on Sunday. Not pictured: an enthusiastic subset also went to the UIUC v UCLA women's gymnastics meet on Sunday afternoon. It was a busy and wonderful weekend. ❤️

The annual Illinois Interfaith Conference is a FREE opportunity for University of Illinois students, campus allies, and community leaders to engage in conversation on interfaith cooperation.🤩 Click the Linktree in our bio to register or scan the QR code to attend on Saturday, February 28th.

Schedule includes keynote and workshops with Dr. Rami Nashashibi and Rev. Ciera Bates-Chamberlain from the Chicago-based Faith Over Fear Network to discuss interfaith organizing to promote democracy.

We're baaaaack! Campus ministry has been busy in the first few weeks of the spring term. We had our spring retreat, started meeting for our ecumenical Bible study group with our Inclusive Campus Ministry partners Saint Andrew's Lutheran Campus Center, McKinley Foundation, and UniPlace Christian Church , and have begun our regular weekly drop in hours (Thursdays) and Jubile Cafe after hang (Mondays). Come hang with us. You are welcome here! 🫶

McKinley Foundation is being of service to the local community on Fridays this semester. If you are a student and interested in volunteering, please check out this opportunity!

In times like these, we take comfort in the power of community. Every week, McKinley students are packing meals for the homeless shelter to make sure our houseless neighbors stay fed! Come help us pack sandwiches on Friday nights, and get a free meal for yourself!
