Day 2 and day 3 of VBS was a blast! We learned that God knows everything and God is our safe place. The kids are having a great time learning through games, activities, and Bible stories. And of course, they love snack time!

Are you or someone you know in need of food? The Falling Spring Presbyterian Church food pantry is open every Tuesday from 9am-11:30am. It is located in the lower level of the chapel. Entrance is on the side by the driveway.
To receive food you must be a Franklin County resident with a permanent address. First time visitors must show something with their address listed (for example - a bill) and an ID.

We are excited to have over 60 kiddos join us tomorrow for the beginning of Rainforest Falls VBS! The FLC is looking like a jungle.

Today was a special day, as we celebrated Rose Rent Sunday. In 1768, Colonel Benjamin Chambers and wife Jane, deeded the land for Falling Spring Presbyterian Church for the payment of a single rose every year. Over 250 years later, we continue to present a rose to a descendent of Benjamin Chambers on the first Sunday of every June. The rose was cut from the memorial rose garden.

Reminder - Tomorrow there will be one service at 10am in the sanctuary as we celebrate Rose Rent Sunday. Following the service, we will move down to the grave of Ben Chambers for the Rose Rent Ceremony.

What is Rose Rent?
Each year, Falling Spring honors its original land agreement by presenting a single rose to a descendent of Ben Chambers.
