Help us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children and vulnerable members of our church community. Safe Sanctuaries Training will be held Sunday, August 30, at 3:00 p.m. Participants will review the church’s Safe Sanctuaries policy and learn practical ways to help protect those in our care.

Ayúdanos a mantener un entorno seguro y acogedor para los niños y los miembros vulnerables de nuestra comunidad de la iglesia. El entrenamiento de Santuarios Seguros se llevará a cabo el domingo 30 de agosto a las 3:00 p.m. Los participantes revisarán la política de Santuarios Seguros de la iglesia y aprenderán formas prácticas de ayudar a proteger a quienes están bajo nuestro cuidado.

Tonight, the Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference made it official. With a unanimous vote, delegates approved the resolution that would unite the two conferences. Conference Lay Leaders Kim Powell and Scott Cleaveland are pictured here with Bishop Dease. What happens now?

On Saturday, September 26, at 10 a.m. Bishop Robin Dease has called a special meeting, the Georgia Unifying Conference: Working Together to Reach 8 Million Georgians. It will be a hybrid event that will take place at The United Methodist Center in Duluth and online. Registration will open later this month.

Then, on January 1, 2027, the Georgia United Methodist Conference will launch. We are grateful for the work of Bishop Dease, Rev. Dr. Rodrigo Cruz, and the hundreds of United Methodists across Georgia who served on a task force to make this vision a reality.
