Calling all young adults ages 18-28!

It’s time for the best spirit filled and fellowship heavy week of the year provided by THQ! Anthem has graced our doorstep again! If you are 18-28 this is for you! Sign up through a corps near you and make sure to contact your Salvation Army corps officer or DYS for more information on how to sign up!

This years theme is Go! In the Bible, the Exodus is about how God delivered His people from bo***ge and led them to freedom in the Promised Land. However, much of the Lord’s people spent many years in the wilderness, where they faced many challenges, such as a lack of food or water. Amid the wilderness, they needed to recognize God’s presence, rely on His provision and protection along the way. Young adulthood is often marked by transitions and even uncertainty, as young people explore their purpose, consider a career or college, and seek God’s direction. During the week we will learn how young adults can seek God and move by faith to do and go where God calls them to go.

DYR is a time where teenagers ages 13-17 from around the Division can gather, worship, laugh and fellowship together all while growing deeper in their walk with Christ. Join us this May 15-17, 2026, in our beautiful camp Lawrence M. Daley for a weekend of fun fellowship and a whole lot of Jesus.

This year’s DYR Theme is “Awaken”, on this weekend your teens are invited to stop blending in and start living in the light—discovering who God is, who they are, and waking up from spiritual sleep. An awakened life doesn’t just avoid darkness—it shines with the light of Christ in everyday moments. We’ll be calling your youth into intentional living, where their choices reflect God’s love, wisdom, and purpose, through our special guest speaker Jeniffer Dake.

Summer Camp is right around the corner and we are so eager to see camp be filled with campers again!
Camp is a great opportunity for campers to encounter Christ in a safe, loving and fun environment. If you or anyone you know has children ages 8-17 that would like to attend camp please connect them or yourselves to your local Salvation Army Corps(church) if you are having trouble reaching them please let us know and we will connect you to them!

Working at camp is a great opportunity to meet new friends, be in a Christ centered community and impact the lives of about 1,000 children! Not only will you be able to share the love of Christ but you will also be impacted by the Christ centered community that surrounds you. We are so excited for this year’s service corps teams!

We are so proud to see all of our SoCal young adults serving in different areas of the world, we pray that each person you encounter feels the love of Jesus and continues to seek that throughout their lives, we also pray that each of you are sensitive to the Holy Spirit throughout your travels.

Please join us as we continually pray for each team as they embark on new journeys that will lead to growth, enlightenment and such a deep faith that continues to draw them closer to Christ.

Hey there SoCal young adults! Since the first one was so fun! Our wonderful THQ youth department is hosting yet another game night for young adults ages (18+). Remember, this is a great way to stay connected and fellowship!
