Anything's Possible He is not only there, but He is offering us a hope and a future. He is our living hope! Our eternal hope!

Even in the midst of our darkest hour, whether we lost of a job, lost a loved one, and we are in utter despair, God is there. Our everlasting hope! Our ONLY hope! He is a hope that never dies! In Jeremiah 29:11, the scriptures states, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (NKJV). This scripture was wri

tten during Jerusalem’s captivity in Babylon. A time where the wicked government ruled over them and where they were not free to worship how they wanted, but in the midst of this time, God declared to them that he wants to give them a hope and a future. Here at Living Hope Church, we want to shine the light of Jesus to Carrier Mills and to the surrounding area that God offers a glorious future and a hope. Don’t lose heart because Jesus is our ONLY, eternal and Living Hope!

Late Night Musings of Pastor Matt: Tomorrow evening we will continue our Bible study on the Book of Acts….. What we learn/see in the Book of Acts is twofold……on one hand we see the Birth and dramatic growth of Christianity…..but we also see that the enemy being quick to attack, discredit, and even attempt to kill those spreading the Gospel….. We’ve ALWAYS been in the crosshairs of the enemy……. But we also know how this story ends…….. GOD AND THOSE WHO STAY FAITHFUL WIN!!!

Update/Check In From Pastor Matt: This page and because of it our Sunday Morning Services are seen weekly by 150 to 200 distinct individual accounts….. Now yes Pastor Matt and Sister Pinky have friends family all over….. but 10-15 in Pakistan? Nope 10-15 in Africa? Nope and over half are in a 10-15 minute radius of Carrier Mills!! We are reaching people and making a difference more importantly GOD accomplishing GREAT things!!

Update from Pastor Matt: Since my post on this the church page asking for people in the area to consider coming to Living Hope I’ve had a couple people message asking about our churches stance on Lgbtqa+ issues…… We support traditional marriage 1 man 1 woman, we don’t affirm or accept anything that all those letters stand for…… That being said we LOVE all people and would welcome ANYONE but to be clear LOVE and ACCEPTANCE are two VASTLY different things and you will hear me preach hard about other things as hard or harder on this subject….. The definition of LOVE and ACCEPTANCE are nowhere near the same…… In fact if you TRULY love someone you’ll preach/teach to people difficult things that make one uncomfortable etc. If there were truly people you HATED would you bother trying to save them?? No but if you LOVE someone you’ll do EVERYTHING in your power to save them….. As a Pastor I love people enough to be honest with people in hopes of them accepting Jesus, repenting of their sins, so they will one day spend an eternity in Gods presence!!

Late Night Update From Pastor Matt: As the mediator I can see who all of our pages followers are, where they are from etc. Now we are a SMALL church in a SMALL community…… and we are followed by over 20% of the population of our town of Carrier Mills so about 340 people in a town of 1700…… your following us, your watching our services on a regular basis…. What might get you to actually come here and visit one Sunday? Make a comment here, maybe reach out and comment via messenger….. most say they like our content so…… come and visit we’d love to meet/see you in person!!

Check in from Pastor Matt: Proof God has a sense of humor……. Preached Sunday about how we will have bad days because of how bad last Thursday & Friday went for me (including a flat tire) Fast forward to today my wife has ANOTHER flat tire (we’ve got an appointment tomorrow to put on 4 new tires) since donut spare is already on car it’s not good……. Virtually ALL then men of the church try and help and while we are on the side of the road two young Mormon missionaries stop to offer to help and suggest (even after I tell them I’m a Pastor and these are the men of my church) they suggest I read the Book of Mormon!! NOPE I’m good YOU CAN GO!! God I appreciate your sense of humor/sarcasm……. I clearly got it from YOU!! lol

Update From Pastor Matt: Finally didn’t rain on a day off so church is mowed!! That said if someone has a weedwaker and could do around the edges of church and along the school fence and under the ramp I’d appreciate it!! I don’t have one otherwise I would have…. Thanks!!
