MABC FAM - WE APPRECIATE YOU!

What an incredible week at Vacation Bible School!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every person who helped make VBS such a success. From our teachers and group leaders to the kitchen crew, those who prepared and served meals, arts and crafts volunteers, decorators, cleanup crews, registration workers, and everyone who stepped in wherever help was needed—your time, energy, and servant hearts made a lasting impact.

One of the greatest blessings of the week was seeing our church family come together with a common purpose: helping children have fun, build friendships, and learn more about Jesus. Every lesson taught, snack served, craft completed, game played, and floor swept helped create an environment where kids felt welcomed, loved, and encouraged in their faith.

We are so grateful for the countless hours of preparation and the willingness of so many volunteers to serve behind the scenes. Because of your dedication, our children experienced an amazing week filled with laughter, excitement, and the truth of God’s love.

Thank you for investing in the next generation. McKinley Avenue Baptist Church is blessed to have such a caring and faithful church family. We are already looking forward to what God will do next year!

What an amazing family fun night!! The kiddos reached their offering goal for the Via Delarosa womens' center, so they were able to slime 5 of our wonderful, brave leaders! We sang songs, shared a meal, had face painting, snow cones, cotton candy, and a bounce house. Thanks so much to all the workers who made this week possible and to the families who shared your children with us!

Hey ladies! This one’s for you!
We are starting a summer women’s Bible study next Wednesday at 9 AM in the Welcome Center.

The study is open to all adult and college age ladies.

Our first study of the summer will be “The Belonging Project.” This study is all about the human desire to fit in, and the Biblical model of friendship. It truly is a study for all seasons of life.

We will have light breakfast foods, and of course, lots of coffee! No books are required - as we will use the videos and some supplementary materials. But if you truly want a copy of the text, it’s available in paper form and Kindle on Amazon.

VBS is still going strong! We have another night tonight of fun, faith, games, and crafts. Then we want to invite all of our new friends and families to family night on Friday night. You definitely don’t want to miss it. 🎨🖌️

We had the best night tonight learning about Jesus, singing, dancing, and making SLIME.
Let’s do it again tomorrow! The craft of the night tomorrow is ‘water marbling’ which is a special kind of painting technique.

Due to scheduling and preparation needs for VBS, all kids and youth programming for tomorrow evening (Wednesday) will be canceled.

VBS teachers and volunteers are still welcome and encouraged to come decorate and prepare classrooms. This is a great opportunity to get things ready for an exciting week ahead!

Adult Bible study with Trent will still meet as planned, and we would love for adults to attend. However, since children’s programming will not be available tomorrow evening, we kindly ask that families make other arrangements for childcare rather than dropping children off during the service time.

Thank you all for understanding, and we appreciate everyone helping us get ready for VBS week!
