Ted Donley, Jeana Wheatcroft, Paula Hooven, Val Hodges, and Brian Bennett are all moving their letters to join our church family officially!!

God has been so good to our church family lately! ❤️ We’ve had the blessing of welcoming some new faces over the past month, including a few more this week, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Truth is, they have just been one of us for a long time already! 😂 That’s one of my favorite things about our church—the way people are welcomed, loved, and made to feel at home.

We’re thankful for every person God has brought through our doors and for the sweet friendships that are growing along the way. We don’t take any of it for granted. ❤️

📯 WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN THE TRUMPET BLOWS 📯

One day, a trumpet will sound.

Jesus Christ will return.
The dead in Christ will rise.
Those who are alive in Christ will be changed.
God’s people will be gathered together.
And we will meet the Lord!

But here’s the question we all need to answer:

Are you ready?

This Sunday, join us for a powerful message from 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18:

“What to Expect When the Trumpet Blows”

We’ll look at what the Bible actually says about the return of Christ, the resurrection of believers, the Rapture, and why Christians can face the future with hope instead of fear.

The Bible says:

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God…”
— 1 Thessalonians 4:16

Jesus is coming again. The trumpet will sound. The question isn’t whether He will come—the question is whether we will be ready when He does.

⚠️ A GREAT GULF FIXED ⚠️

What happens after we die?

Is judgment temporary? Does a person simply cease to exist? Or did Jesus teach that eternity is real—and that our destiny becomes fixed beyond reversal?

Tomorrow morning, we’ll open Luke 16:19–31 and listen carefully to the words of Jesus concerning the rich man and Lazarus.

Jesus describes a man who died and yet remained conscious. He could see. He could remember. He could feel. He could speak. He could plead for mercy.

And then came these sobering words:

📖 “…between us and you a great chasm has been fixed…” — Luke 16:26

There are some truths in Scripture that are difficult to hear. But the question isn’t, “What makes us feel comfortable?”

The question is: “What did Jesus say?”

This message isn’t meant to make us cold toward the lost—it should do exactly the opposite. If eternity is real, if judgment is real, and if the decision we make concerning Christ in this life has eternal consequences, then today matters.
