“I Think I Love Jesus.” ❤️

When A. first met with a Good News Global chaplain, she was searching. She was interested in spirituality and had explored many different beliefs and practices—but she knew very little about Jesus.

The chaplain shared the Gospel with her, and A. began reading the Bible and attending Bible studies.

Then one day, she walked into the chaplain’s office beaming.

“I think I love Jesus.”

She had been reading the Gospel of John and was discovering who Jesus really is. That day, through tears and more conversation about God’s grace, A. put her faith in Christ.

And change is already taking root.

She threw away the tarot cards she once used. Instead of getting into fights, she now spends hours reading God’s Word. She’s growing in her faith and even talking about attending Bible college after her release.

This is why presence matters. A chaplain was there when A. was searching—ready to listen, open God’s Word, and introduce her to the One she was really looking for.

Please pray for A. as she continues to grow in Christ and prepares for the day next year when she returns home to her daughter.

Here’s the thing about jail and prison chaplaincy: presence matters.

Day after day, Good News Global chaplains are there—inside jails and prisons, walking alongside men and women when the need is greatest.

They listen. They pray. They counsel. They open God’s Word. And they faithfully point people to the hope and freedom found in Jesus Christ.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply be there—with the Gospel.

How grateful we are for the prayers and support of our ministry partners that make it possible for us to be present behind bars.

A prayer offered.

And sometimes, that ordinary moment becomes the moment everything changes.

That’s the power of presence—being there when someone is finally ready to hear that their past does not have to define their future.

The Gospel is changing lives behind bars. And we get to be there when it happens. 🙌

15,000 T-shirts. 5,000 incarcerated men. One incredible act of compassion. ❤️

At Rutana Correctional Facility in Burundi, every inmate received three new T-shirts thanks to the generosity of our wonderful partners at YWAM. And that's just one of several facilities that received much-needed clothing.

Why does giving someone a T-shirt matter to a Gospel ministry?

Because people matter—body, mind, and soul.

Whenever we can, we respond to the practical needs of those we serve, demonstrating Christ's compassion and building relationships that can open hearts to hear the Good News.

Sometimes sharing the Gospel begins by simply showing someone: We see you. We care about you. You have not been forgotten.
