Congratulations to our Exploring Buddhism students for completing the
Exploring the View, Tenets, and the Middle Way course. The Two Truths according to the Buddhist Tenets, along with the coarse and subtle aspects of the various selflessnesses, are not easy topics to study. Yet it is deeply gratifying when we begin to gain even a small glimpse of understanding, allowing us to meditate on selflessness with much greater depth.
Deep gratitude to Geshe Tenzin Legtsok for guiding us and clarifying our doubts with patience and kindness.
Off we go next to Exploring the Sutra Grounds and Paths.

Ways to support those affected by the flash flood disaster on the Nepal-Tibet border. Please continue to pray for the victims, survivors, and displaced communities.

In light of the catastrophic flooding that recently hit Nepal and Tibet, FPMT has launched the FPMT Emergency Relief Fund to provide immediate support to affected communities. This fund assists individuals and families impacted by natural disasters, emergency situations at FPMT centers and projects, and other urgent crises requiring swift aid.

To Support - https://fpmt.org/projects/fpmt/social-services-fund/fpmt-emergency-relief-fund/

We are currently utilizing this fund to raise relief funds for those impacted by the flooding that occurred on August 26 along the Bhote Koshi River on the Nepal-Tibet border. The floodwaters have swept away entire villages, homes, roads, bridges, and essential infrastructure across Rasuwa and neighboring districts. The scale of this disaster is still unfolding, with many people remaining unaccounted for and entire communities displaced.

FPMT is working directly with Kopan Monastery to identify those most in need and help ensure that support reaches affected families directly.

We will keep you updated as aid is distributed. Thank you for keeping all those affected in your prayers. 🙏https://fpmt.org/projects/fpmt/social-services-fund/fpmt-emergency-relief-fund/

Over the years, Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche offered various pieces of advice for prayers and practices to turn to when facing natural disasters. In light of the recent flash flood and mudslide along the Nepal–Tibet
