- القبطية هوية وليست دين
- القبطية أصالة وعمق وتَفَرُّد.
- القبطية كنز إنسانى متكامل ومتنوع مابين الموسيقى والرسم واللغة والكتابات العميقة والترجمات الدقيقة
- ليست القبطية لازمة لدخولنا السما (كما يدعى البعض) ولكنها لازمة للدخول الى إدراك مَن نحن ومن هم آباؤنا how precious and unique we are
- اللغة القبطية أسهل من لغات كثيرة ومن اشياء اخرى كثيرة نتعلمها فى الحياة ! ولكنها مفتاح ووسيلة جميلة بها نتذوق الموسيقى والتسبحة ولانكون "متغربين" strangers عنها.

- الانسان بطبيعته لا يحب مايجهل
ولكن بقليل من الصبر والممارسة نتعلم بسهولة.
- إدراك أهمية أى أمر فى الحياة يؤدى إلى الإقتناع به ثم الإقبال عليه وتعلمه وممارسته. وعدم الادراك يُخسِّر الانسان الكثير فى الحياة

- التسبحة فى الكنيسة عبارة عن صلوات لاهوتية عميقة فى صورة أرباع موزونة على لغتها الاصلية (مثل أى شعر موزون فى أى لغة) وترجمة أى شعر موزون تفقده موسيقاه ووزنه الجميل فى الأذن.

- التعليم هو جسر الفهم.
- والفهم هو أساس عبادتنا الروحية.
- ترديد الكلمات بدون فهم يفرغ عبادتنا من معناها ومغزاها
"ليفهم القارئ"
- الفن القبطى علم غزير مملوء بالمعانى الرائعة لحياتنا.

القبطية هى هويتك الغنية الفريدة أيها الحبيب.

كنيستنا "قبطية" نعتز بها ونشكر الله
وهى إرث ووديعة للأجيال القادمة يتذوقوها منا حين نمارسها بأمانة.

“” Coptic””

Coptic is an identity, not a religion.
Coptic is authenticity, depth, and exclusivity.

Coptic is an integrated and diverse human treasure, extending to music, painting, language, profound writings, and precise translations.
Coptic is not essential for us to enter heaven (as some claim), but it is necessary to enhance the awareness of who are we, who our forefathers are, and how precious and unique are we.

The Coptic language is easier than many languages and many other things we learn in life! However, it is a key and a beautiful means through which we can savor music and praise and not be as "strangers".

- Man by nature does not like what he does not know, but with a little patience and practice we can easily learn.
- Realizing the importance of any matter in life leads to its conviction, then acceptance, learning and practicing it while unawareness leads a man to a big loss in life.

- The praise in the church consists of deep theological prayers in the form of rhythmic quadrants in its original language (like any rhythmic poetry in any language). Translating any rhythmic poetry makes it miss its music and its beautiful rhyme in the ear.

- Learning is the bridge of understanding.
- Understanding is the basis of our spiritual worship.
- Repeating words without understanding them empties our worship of its meaning and significance.
"Whoever reads, let him understand."
- Coptic art is a prolific science filled with wonderful meanings to our lives.

- Coptic is your unique rich identity, my beloved.

- Our church is "Coptic", which we cherish and thank God for. It is a legacy and a deposit for future generations that they will taste from us when we practice it faithfully.

Last Week St. George and St. Joseph held a week-long summer camp for kids, KG to Middle school, 8 am to 3 pm. We called it Camp Ou-mo-ou (which means water in Coptic).

Each day started with the Divine Liturgy, sometimes with the congregation and sometimes only for the kids, followed by breakfast, Coptic language lesson, two hymns lessons, and a Bible
Study discussing a water-related theme. Each day concluded with water games and so much fun!

Thank God, the camp was a success and the kids are asking for me. Here is a brief video summarizing 5 days of prayer, learning, aghapy, and fun!
